Opportunities to stay in a classicly-restored Victorian mansion are few and far between. The rooms are immaculate and gorgeous, but my fav part of my stay is always Libations, where you can sit peacefully and enjoy your (in my case) local craft beer, suck in the view and the fresh air and relax. This family really went out of its...

My girlfriend and I stayed here during labor day weekend, and couldn't have been happier. The building itself has been incredibly well restored and taken care of. We were amazed by how nice the building was. The owners and their dog greeted us, and made us feel right at home. We stayed in Emily's Room, on the third floor, it...

4 of us were just there for a murder mystery weekend. We enjoyed every aspect of the weekend and would highly recommend it. There is quite a bit to see in Jim Thorpe. It is a quaint town with a train ride available too.

My girlfriend and I had our first date in Jim Thorpe.I thought going back to propose to her would be a long lasting memory. Unfortunately I made the mistake to stay at the Harry Packer mansion. We were greeted by a very over whelmed couple , due to the fact numerous guest showed up at the same time . Plus...

After so many demands and erroneous comments I did stop answering all of your emails. I am not sure it was unprofessional but rather I was just not willing to pay you to review your stay. Even after you emailed that your nephew was the the review business and he would help you slam us if I didn't pay up,...

Stayed at the Harry Packer mansion this past weekend for the Murder Mystery. We had a blast. The suite was everything you would expect. It was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. I never comment on things like linens, but these actually had me asking the owner where I could buy them. Food was fantastic. The Murder Mystery portion was also...

We were greeted at the door by the most lovely people. I immediately felt like a family guest. We were brought to our room which was utterly gorgeous. A big huge sitting room with high ceilings and long Windows. The furniture was amazingly comfortable. We had our own full bathroom which was beautiful. Our bedroom was also huge and gorgeous....

Thank you, Pat and Bob. As confirmed romantics and lovers of history, you have our appreciation. Such a restoration on such a beautiful mansion. Such a level of hospitality. And we're so glad for the happy ending (return of your dog, after what must have been an epic night for him as well)! Greetings from frozen Quebec City.

I hope you enjoyed Quebec, what a wonderful city to visit. Thanks for the concern for our very bad dog, he had a fun night out on the town while we worried!

My mother, daughter and I recently visited for my daughter's 21st birthday and could not have been happier! Our suite far exceeded expectations as did the food and hospitality. Pat, Bob and Tyler are so committed to making your experience wonderful. The mystery was more fun than you can imagine and Bob is so funny!

The house and rooms are wonderful. I stayed in the carriage house and liked being out of the commotion of the main house but close enough not to feel completely separated. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Pats food was great- even for a picky person who doesn't eat meat. The murder mystery was a blast! Bob...

I traveled with a group of four. We stayed on the third floor of the carriage house at Pat's suggestion that it would be nice for us to have two rooms across from each other (the only rooms on the floor). I'm very glad we made that choice instead of staying in the mansion - we had a lot of...
