We were there for only an overnight and wish we could have stayed longer. The Inn is a charming blend of antique, vintage and classic styled furnishings, all combined to give you a comfortable and cozy feeling. Front desk staff were very friendly and efficient,...More
We randomly stopped in Jim Thorpe after a couple of nights at a nice hotel in upstate NY. The Inn at Jim Thorpe was much better. The desk was helpful in getting us a room, the Inn is right in the middle of old town,...More
We stayed here while attending a concert at Penn's Peak. Hotel is beautiful and the room was immaculate, which means a lot to me. Bathroom was nicely updated! A breakfast voucher was given towards breakfast in the morning, which was a really good meal. After...More
My wife and I spent a weekend in Jim Thorpe recently. I am very interested in the paranormal, and the Jim Thorpe Inn is well-known for being haunted. Strangely, the couple behind the front desk--who may or may not have been the couple who owns...More

I apologize if the front desk staff came off that way. We generally get excellent reviews for the friendliness of our front desk staff. I cannot speak for the local merchants other than we do get comments about how friendly everyone seems to be in...More
My parents gave us a gift certificate for an overnight stay at the Inn. We arrived early and were told we could park in the lot but our room was not quite ready. No issues with the lot as it was a Monday.

Yes, we took our own bikes. There is plenty of parking in the county lot in Jim Thorpe and Pocono Biking is right across the street where you load your bikes. You can choose your destination as to how far you want to ride and they will drop you off accordingly. It was approx $38 for us to ride the shuttle to White Haven with our own bikes for 2 of us. It does take the bus approx 50 min. to get to White Haven from Jim Thorpe though. Make sure you allow enough time. It took us 3 hours to do the 25 miles and we did not stop or linger much.
