Our first visit to the Globe was a one night stop over en route from Victoria to Sydney. Yass is a short distance from the Hume Highway and The Globe provides a high level of comfort and excellent personal service from the owners in a quiet, charming heritage setting within the town. The en suite bedroom was totally satisfactory and...

Every year, we look forward to staying with David and Greg in their beautiful home and catching up on all their news. They always make us feel very welcome. We usually book one of the big rooms upstairs. These are comfortable and very charming as is the whole place. The bathrooms are small but there's plenty of hot water and...

Within 10mins of booking we got a call back from the proprietors suggesting a place to eat (The Sir Gorge Hotel) which ended up being amazing. The picture of an old colonial building sold this B&B to me when we were looking for somewhere to stay. When we arrived....we were not disappointed. The hosts were lovely and a warm welcome was received. They have renovated this beautiful old building with love & inkeeping with the period. Decor and furniture is spot-on! David and Greg are the most wonderful hosts of this beautiful accommodation in a fabulous town. They were so accommodating when we had a change of plans and nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic location, beautiful garden, lovely room. Afternoon drinks on the balcony were delightful. Coupled with Clementine for dinner and Yazzbar for drinks and great love music, we...

The Globe Inn is a gem in the historic town of Yass. I made a booking with the very friendly owners, Greg and David a few months before our stay - so warm and welcoming even before we arrived. We had booked the Garden Room which is really a separate cottage set in a gorgeous cottage garden. The room was...

We enjoy coming through Yass now we have found The Globe Inn. Greg and David are lovely hosts. The Inn is beautifully presented and our room upstairs was large and extremely comfortable. Greg and David's advice on the available dinner options was excellent and breakfast is a real treat. We look forward to our next visit.
