I whole heartedly concur with previous reviews! The place is simply charming. David and Greg are most attentive hosts. It was lovely to be greeted by name at breakfast by Greg, even though it was only had David I had met at checkin. Their rooms/establishment are clean and very comfortable - the family room is big enough to do a...

We stayed for a second time at this old historic hotel run as a B&B by the wonderful hosts David and Greg. The rooms are beautifully furnished and little touches such as chocolates and short bread make it even more special. A wonderful breakfast is provided. Nearby is a great restaurant Clementines and a wine bar Yass Bar. Highly recommended...

We had a lovely couple of nights in the garden room recently. The Globe is conveniently located a few steps from the Main Street, the property is very nicely furnished and there are some very comfortable common areas. David and Greg are very knowledgable about the town and local area and gave us some great advice on activities and places...

We stayed here en route to Melbourne and this delightful little hotel/guesthouse proved a welcome antidote to the usual cold, impersonal motel rooms on offer. The Globe Inn, owned by welcoming hosts Dave and Greg, was built in 1847; it has been lovingly and tastefully restored and is furnished with antiques and interesting artefacts. The small lounge room and the...

The Globe Inn stands out from your usual motel. Wonderful fresh breakfast included. 19th century old pub converted to a hotel. Tea with sunset on the deck recommended. The hosts Greg and David welcomed us and served a wonderful fresh breakfast. Definitely recommended to those who prefer a little history and character as much as great value. Oh and take...

My husband and I had stayed here years ago before David and Greg took over. They have lovingly rejuvenated this old coaching inn come B&B, transforming it into a wonderfully welcoming place to stay. Our upstairs ensuite room was well decorated and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The included breakfast was a choice of continental or cooked. We...

What a beautiful restored building, our host's gave us a warm welcome. Nothing was a problem from arrival to check out. Our room was restored with all creature comforts and added touch was there home made short bread. Our hosts served home grown olives which went down a treat with our chilled champagne that we had in the front sitting...

Our first visit to the Globe was a one night stop over en route from Victoria to Sydney. Yass is a short distance from the Hume Highway and The Globe provides a high level of comfort and excellent personal service from the owners in a quiet, charming heritage setting within the town. The en suite bedroom was totally satisfactory and...

Every year, we look forward to staying with David and Greg in their beautiful home and catching up on all their news. They always make us feel very welcome. We usually book one of the big rooms upstairs. These are comfortable and very charming as is the whole place. The bathrooms are small but there's plenty of hot water and...
