Years ago I swore I wouldn’t return to this hotel because of the noise from their ballroom events. The Marriott was booked so I thought I’d give it another try. Friday night there was a bug on my pillow. Saturday am there was construction noise at 6 am. Saturday night at 11:30 we returned to see a large graduation party wrapping up. The kids didn’t stop taking loudly in the hallways and slamming doors, etc. until after 1:00 am. This hotel is all about making money off of their ballroom - don’t expect them to care about you getting a good night’s sleep.

I had a high school reunion and a block of rooms were put aside for us. When I got there at about 9 PM, a bus with 11 -12 year old children was there for both a hockey and a volleyball championship. Also, a large wedding had reserved rooms. It took a very long time to check in (there were 4 people in front of me and it took over an hour). One reason for the delay was that the staff had to constantly answer the phone concerning noise control, which they did nothing about. The noise continued until 11:27 when my 87 year old mom asked the people in the hallway to quiet down. In the morning at breakfast we were told our breakfasts were free, but we had bought tickets for breakfast, none of which would be refunded. After we spent the day out visiting friends, we returned about 9:30 to find our room hadn't been cleaned or any towels or linens replaced. As is the norm we had put our used towels, etc. on the floor so the housekeepers knew what to replace (I was actually a maid there during the summers as a high school student.) Now we had dirty linens to go with the dirty room. I hope you aren't worried about COVID 19. The room said it was clean with a little postcard, but there was chewed gum in our wastebasket. I called the front desk and was told we had to schedule a room cleaning the day before. There was nothing stating that, nor were we told when we checked in. Again, the kids stayed the next night at the hotel, with no noise control. It didn't stop until nearly midnight. To summarize: the room was dirty, hotel noisy and we spent $40 for 2 breakfasts for 2 days, that were actually offered for free. Obviously, we won't stay there again and would advise you to think twice if concerned about germs and getting a decent night's sleep.

Hi ElizabethF2586SB, I would like to start by apologizing for all of the issues that you faced during your time here. I can understand how all these issues would have amounted to a negative stay. I would like to also apologize on behalf of the sports team that we had staying with us over the weekend. They did not follow the hotel policies and I am sorry that it was not better enforced during your stay. I would also like to apologize for the miscommunication with our stayover service, it should have been offered at the time of check in. If this was not explained at the time you would not have known that it needed to be requested. As for the breakfast I would like to apologize for that as well, there were some circumstances outside of our control over the weekend that required us to change how our breakfast was handled. I have gone ahead and credited the card you placed on file at the time of check in with a $40 refund for the vouchers you purchased. Please feel free to contact the hotel directly if you would like to review anything further or in more detail, I would be happy to discuss them with you. Thank you.

At a rate of 41% off through Priceline, this is a great value. At the rack rate, not so much. Pros: Wonderfully generous, open room size, 4th floor rooms were just renovated with neutral tones: Adequate, clean, generic corporate style. HG points. Cons: highway noise through the windows.

We stayed three nights. Everyone was really nice. The guests were happy and smiling. One customer who was paying cash was not happy that he had to leave an extra $75 deposit to be refunded. We stayed on the first floor. The family next door had sort of a wild child, but you could only hear him if he or we were in the hallway so the soundproofing must be pretty good. I think the kids upstairs were running across the room and jumping on the bed a hundred times. It didn't bother me because I was awake, but if you want quiet perhaps a top floor room in the center might be the best. Nobody had loitering conversations in the hall. It felt safe walking the dog after midnight. There was a patrol car in the parking lot on Friday and Sunday night which felt extra secure. There is a Royal Farms gas, food and store just steps from the hotel.. The hotel has dog poop containers on both sides of the parking lot. We didn't get any ticks from the lawn, but I did see deer poop in the tall grass behind the picnic area so check yourself and your pet if you go back there. We got the dog points rate, but I would rather just not have to pay $25 a night when the room isn't cleaned each day because of Covid. The fee should just be $25 for the duration.

This hotel was overpriced and and not worth the money. The hotel staff at the front desk was very new and did not seem to have very good training. They were left alone with no type of management or supervision and had to continually call the manager at home to help solve issues. No house Keeping to clean rooms or even deliver new towels. When I called to inquire the poor kid at the desk had no clue what to even do. Hallways were very dirty, floors do not look they have been vacuumed in or maybe months. I did not expect this for this price. Holiday inn usually sold brand but not this property.

We were in town for a local wrestling tournament, being up at 0500 hrs, and done close to 2000 hrs, made it a long day in a gym. Instead of risking driving 2 hours and tired, we decided to get a hotel for the night. We just wanted a hotel with a restaurant, and chose the HI. Upon checking in, David was friendly, we asked for a quiet room, and he placed us in A405. We were then told that the restaurant was open late. Once in the room, king size bed and pull out, I noticed there were no sheets or pillows for the pull out. So I picked up the phone to call, room phone was broken so we decided that when we walk to the restaurant we would inform David. He then told us that he would send up the sheets while we were eating and that he would note the room phone was broke. We entered the restaurant, but they appeared to only have 1 or 2 guys working, we sat in the seating area of the restaurant with no luck, so walked to the bar and stood there, nobody waited on us... We then decided to go to the Mexican restaurant down the road instead. Upon returning around 10 pm, still no sheets and a barking dog in the room next to us. After using my cell to call the hotel, David asked me if there were sheets in the closet... I told him no, already checked, he said he would send them up... Well then the barking dog... Holy crap can this get worse? I felt like a walking zombie, and was too lazy to call and try to change rooms... I was hoping the dog owners would be back and keep the dog quiet... We didn't know dogs were allowed in hotel, and we r dog lovers, but not barking dogs when I am paying money to get sleep... Sunday morning, woken by barking dog, go figure... I then went outside to look for the exact location of the dog... Room A403, of course right next door... Which wasn't a shock due to how loud he was... I then spoke with the housekeeping staff, as the dog barked and barked and told her of the noise, she made a comment that the dog is loud.... I couldn't wait to check out, absolutely the worst HI experience, maybe I should have asked prior to booking if they allowed dogs, but in the numerous stays in HI throughout many places, we travel a lot for wrestling... We never knew they allowed them. I told the lady upon checkout about the nightmare, she offered to add points to my acct... We then asked about the 25 dollar charge and was told it would be posted after checkout... That still isn't in out acct either... Stay elsewhere... We won't be back.

Last night marks yet another fabulous holiday party at The Holiday Inn. On the basis of the super positive experience I had last year I decided I decided to book my second party 🎉. This year was even better; the team never fails to exceed expectations Diane makes the party planning a seamless process. Being such an efficient, experienced event planner she does a phenomenal job, plus she's delightful to deal with. With John at the helm overseeing the event in realtime, you are free from worry. He is masterful as he directs his team to make sure they hit the mark on every detail. He's not a micromanager but a leader who treats his team with professionalism and respect. Which is clearly noted when you see the pride and fun the staff all seem to have getting the job done. John is a hard worker committed to making your event successful and stress- free. He's so solution based and is creative at coming up with an action plan to address any hiccup along the way. Let me preface the hiccups we're on our end not his but he still resolved the breakdowns. He's a charming, engaging,and a hell of a nice guy. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the salmon, the steak we're cooked to perfection. I'm a harsh critic on Italian food, but they did a stable job on the chicken parm, and the veggies were cooked to perfection. My guests loved the cookies and brownies, and we're thrilled they had enough to take some home. Paul and the rest of the team were so very cordial, helpful to the guests. The room was spacious, and we were able to play Team building games, enjoy our music, and mingle with comfort and ease. Shout out to our Bartender Cody; he kept the libations flowing. Thanks to all for your tireless efforts in making our Holiday party a successful but, more importantly, a A genuinely memorable evening. Thank you all so very much. My Team has been texting and calling all-day to say what a great time they had. Kudos to the entire team on a job is well done. You guys hit it out of the Park!

I came here for a five night stay in November. My room smelled like smoke. Also, when I opened the mini fridge, I found someone else’s leftovers in there. I didn’t trust the room was clean after that. I checked out after the first night. I should know better than to book Holiday Inn. They’re rarely acceptable. The expresses usually are. Another odd problem with this hotel was that you need to go down 8 steps to get to the elevator to go up. What’s up with that?

I stayed at this particular location last month and at that time I arrived around 9:00 pm ish. I was tired and wanted sleep. I was awakened rudely at 7:00 am by the housekeeping staff. I told them I was asleep and to come back. Not more that 40 minutes later they came back, knocking on my door. I opened it it and firmly told them I had until 11:00 until check out time and didn’t appreciate them waking me early. I informed the manager while checking out I was not happy. They comped for part of my stay but it was very rude to wake guests that early. Not staying there again.
