We booked thru Interval International using time share points. We were looking for a 4 star resort in the Poconos and this resort was listed as a 4 star. We quickly discovered that this resort is worn out and in need of renovations, the layout of the property is terrible and on top of all the negative things I can say there is a $22 + daily resort usage fee and a separate $38 dollar a day fee for the water park. We stayed 3 of the 7 days we had booked and the only positive was that they refunded our unused resort usage fee. Please pay attention to the negative comments they are a fair representation of this resort. I have never been to a resort where we had to ask for towels, bathmat, wash clothes, dish detergent etc.

Went up for a week, but came home early. Made a trade through timeshare. Was not advised until arrival that we had to pay an additional $185.50 because resort is under new management.
Sofa and chair need to be tossed! No padding whatsoever. Butts were sore after a half hour! Very, very uncomfortable. Mattress appeared to be new. Very comfortable. Kitchen did not have sponge, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent or towels to dry kitchenware. We always bring our own kitchen bag, so we used our supply.
Recommendation to the resort is to have first and second floor or a separate dedicated for families with kids. Hallways were set up like a runway for kids to run up and down at all hours. Also, you can hear everything through the lockout door. Also, create a more detailed book or paperwork about the unit and who to contact if the unit needs something.
If you are a light sleeper, good luck. Nothing like hearing the tractor trailers downshifting on Interstate 80 24/7.
Over all it is a nice resort, a lot of activities you have to pay for on top of the $185.50. The area is only good for skiing, golfing, hiking. Good shopping in Tannersville.
Would I go back is remained to be seen!

Check in was easy. I and two friends rented this condo because the Split Rock Wine Fest was being held that weekend. Upon entering this condo, which I had rented before the pandemic, has not been changed one bit. The couch dipped down so far I needed help to get out of it.
(Early American furniture that has to be 20 years old). The kitchen counter was cracked, the water went down so slowly mostly because there isn’t a garbage disposal and I’m sure it’s filled with whatever. Floor tiles are dingy and cracked and furniture was stained. What really ticked me off is we didn’t have a remote control. I called immediately and 5 more times to have one sent to us. One was never delivered. We happened to see a repair man who said he may have a universal one in his van. He did. Otherwise we would still be waiting for the remote. I am a timeshare owner and this is the worst one I have ever stayed in. The bed was comfy I will say and the air conditioner worked well.

The nicest thing I can say is that the place has seen better days. For the entirety of our stay the building smelled like spoiled mayo. We booked from Sat. to Sat. Arrived on Sun., but could only tolerate the place for 3 days. There were dumpsters in front of 3 of the six buildings, so although the owners must know renovations are necessary, they are still taking reservations. The only reason for receiving 1 star is because the staff always tried to be helpful despite the language barrier.

Beautiful and peaceful the suite was decent the bed was comfortable. The indoor water park is nice and the price is reasonable. The “beach” was clean and the firework show was amazing. The indoor pool was clean the game room was going through a renovation but overall it was a great experience and I will be returning.

The exterior is misleading because it looks nice. Step into the building and all bets are off. The carpet is old and stained. The furniture is old and stained and that's before you get to your room. If at all possible the furniture in the room was even worse. I would be disrespecting Goodwill if I said it was Goodwill furniture. The couch and chair were years past their useful life. The only bright spot inside was the bed was actually comfortable.
Nice area to visit but I would skip Willowbrook Building 5.

Wallpaper was peeling off the wall with black mold hidden behind it. Room had terrible smell. We tried to close the bathroom sliding door and the whole lock broke off. Stay far far away from willowbook. We were finally able to get switched to the galleria after an hour or so of going back and forth with the manager.

We started with a 2hr and 45 minutes to check-in. to get everything upstairs we looked for a cart - none to be found. Called the front desk 8x with no answer. Drove back to the building to get help. Told security would be overand meet them back at our building, 1 hr later, now 10pm. key does not work - drive back again. No security ever showed. at 11 I got the 3 suitcases up for the essentials. Day 2 toilet overflowed. no answer. went over to report at 12 noon.7pm still not addressed. and this is only day 2. Never did the offer anything for the terrible service.. I'd have given a 0 if the minimum score had'nt been 1.

After reading the reviews, I went with trepidation to Willowbrook, but was pleasantly surprised by the unit. The furnishings were definitely outdated and in need of replacement, but the overall unit was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were told that renovations at Willowbrook will be done in the coming year, and we would not hesitate to go back once the work is completed. We enjoyed our stay at the resort.

To start-walking into the building #6 :smells of mildew, like it's been neglected. Walked into the unit (2 bdrm. 2 bath) Broken sleeper sofa left in half opened position-would not close.Smells like people have been chain-smoking in it. There were stains on the ceiling in several areas. Mildew and mold-not just in the bathrooms. Ripped/torn furniture cushions. No carts to bring luggage up to the second floor. Bugs in unit-including cockroaches! It took overnight for them to move us to another unit/building. The elevator was out of service that day-had to carry everything up and down the stairwell. They put us into a smaller (one bedroom-one bath-bldg. #5 ) unit. Not as bad, but still Not clean. We called multiple times to speak with the General Manager. Either not in or not returning calls. We were told he comes in at 3:00 P.M. Emailed the address found on their website-NO response (It's been a week). The indoor waterpark is just as bad. Not really clean. Not well supervised by staff (busy on their phones).Watch out for your children's safety. We went out for the day (away from this place) and when we came back later that night, our unit keys would not work. Called the front desk, response was "We will send security with new keys. They will be there in 10 minutes". Forty five minutes later-they show up. He tells us that the locks were changed today. We should have been notified of this. They had all our contact information. They could have told us to come to the registration building (about one mile away) upon return to get new keys. This facility, in my opinion, not only needs new management, staff and upgrades, but is a Health Risk for whoever stays here.
