Rooms were clean and comfortable and spacious. Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. Check in and Check-out was easy for us and all our guests. We had more than 50 rooms booked for our wedding guests. We had a night before welcoming dinner and a Sunday brunch day after the wedding. The service and the food were very good. Room set up (we used meeting rooms) was perfect. Kudos to the entire staff especially to Heather. Heather was wonderful in all the planning steps and the execution. Front desk staff was great, friendly and efficient. Our guests utilized the lobby bar as well. Service was great there too. Thank you to everyone at the Hilton Garden Inn in helping to make my daughter's wedding weekend flawless!
Family stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn when our son got married at Stoner Commons. Hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. Was very pleased with our stay. The hotel provided bagged breakfast during our stay.
Check in was fast and friendly, Room was comfy and clean except some mold at the shower door. Breakfast was tasty and the servers were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to alot of places to eat and shop. Would go back
Meh…. Not the best -not the worst. Diamond members get a choice - points or $20 credit per diamond member per day (not how many rooms you have). Can’t roll over credit the next day? Not the end of the world - “whatever”. Hotel is very clean - for what they are dealing with - aged. Staff is nice and accommodating. Next time I will try the Hilton Homewood suites across the street or Hampton Inn closer to downtown
I booked this property with arrival on November 6th for 4 nights. I was assigned Room 294 on the Second Floor near to the main lobby/front desk area. Admittingly, I was a bit hesitant to book based on some of the reviews; however, I had an excellent stay. All staff that I encountered were very nice. The pool and fitness area is very nice. I did not use the restaurant at all during my stay. Parking is plentiful and free. You are a slight bit removed from the most touristy part of town; however, in an excellent location in the middle of everything else. My room was excellent. Many people are saying that this hotel is in dire need of renovation. Well, yes and no. First of all, this property has a very unique layout, unlike any Hilton property I have ever seen. My Room (294) was very, very clean. Although some of the furnishings are a bit older, everything was well taken care of. In addition, it appeared some parts of the room including the carpet, walls, ceiling, etc were recently redone. The bed was very comfortable. My room was interior facing to one of the courtyards and was very quiet. The only thing I would love to see them improve upon is the bathroom/toilet area. The bathroom is tiny and the toilet is truly made for a very small person. However, overall, I have to give it a 4 out of 5 rating, and would definitely stay again in the future.…
Everything is terrible from staff attitude to cleanliness of rooms to quality of food , Also front desk add charges to you either purposely or they can’t do simple math it took me 45 min to check out Insane
bathrooms on the small side. Small lobby. Nice pool area. Hallways are not attractive. Beds were relatively comfortable. Front desk was not very friendly. Location was good. Windows were thin which made it a little Noisy from the highway
If I could give this review 10 - stars I would and if I ever have to travel to Lancaster again I'll be staying here again. Yes, the hotel is a bit dated, but it will be undergoing renovations soon. Our room was extremely clean...I'm not a person who ever steps on the floor of a hotel in bare feet, but I did here. The beds were comfy, the room didn't have any bad smells (I've been at other hotels recently that just smelled awful), and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. The staff was very friendly, the area the hotel was located in is a very safe area, and was about 10 minutes away from everything we had to do. I highly recommend this place! We were in room 253.
This hotel has a unique arrangement. It only has two floors, is mostly rectangular, and the inside rooms either face the main courtyard, another small courtyard, or the lobby area. First-floor inside rooms have a sliding-glass door, and corner second-floor rooms have a balcony. So, it has enormous potential. The problem is that the hotel is in desperate need of renovation. Our room had cracked grout in the bathroom (which was very small). The toilet (kids height!) had a loose seat and must have been leaking water from the tank, since the tank filled up periodically when not in use. The furniture is old, the carpet is old, etc. We stayed here on this trip because it was the least expensive of the Homewood (across the street) or the Home2 Suites (very new) on a weekend when everything was sold out. Of the three Hilton properties in the area (near our grandchildren), I rate this third and the Home2 Suites first.…
All of the staff were pleasant and helpful, except Mark Flanagan. Mark was unaccommodating, dismissive and inflammatory. He showed preference to groups based on color and showed poor customer service.
