Rooms were clean and comfortable and spacious. Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. Check in and Check-out was easy for us and all our guests.
We had more than 50 rooms booked for our wedding guests. We had a night before welcoming dinner and a Sunday brunch day after the wedding. The service and the food were very good. Room set up (we used meeting rooms) was perfect. Kudos to the entire staff especially to Heather. Heather was wonderful in all the planning steps and the execution. Front desk staff was great, friendly and efficient. Our guests utilized the lobby bar as well. Service was great there too.
Thank you to everyone at the Hilton Garden Inn in helping to make my daughter's wedding weekend flawless!

They went to the trouble of putting a fancy sticker on the door that the room was sanitized and deep cleaned. Then I took a shower shortly after arriving and found soap scum and long black hairs all ove the shower walls. Not cleaned at all. Please beware and bring your own cleaning wipes. Good location and relatively new building make it okay overall.

The hotel is located in a nice area. The room was clean. The AC unit was loud, sounded like construction trucks in the room. No sit down breakfast included, we were offered a grab and go, which consisted of a over ripe banana, yogurt, and granola bar. No restaurant or food service available, so if you come in late looking for a meal, all they sell are snacks.

I don’t mind when things are slightly amiss when I arrive at a name brand hotel establishment that has to compete with very similar other name brand hotel establishments like the courtyard Marriott or holiday inn. So I don’t mind that when I arrive for my stay to my hotel room there were two empty rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom. I can call the front desk and ask for a roll of toilet paper. No big deal. But what really grinds my gears is when I ask for something simple like 3 empty wine glasses from the lobby bar so I can enjoy a bottle of wine that in brought from home in my room with my friends and get refused. My group of family and friends rented two hotel rooms during this two night stay. We were refused the 3 glasses of wine from the female bartender on the evening of Saturday, December 4th. This is disappointing especially for such a small request that other hotel chains like the courtyards and holiday inns in the Lancaster area have been happy to fulfill during my previous trips to Lancaster. My friends and I will not be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Lancaster location for any of our multiple seasonal trips to the Lancaster area in the future.

I was online checking into the hotel and had a perfect view of the "chef" preparing food for room service. I actually saw him wipe off the side of a plate with his finger and then put it in his mouth. He then went on the prepare some chicken wings. After tossing the wings in the sauce, he opened a bag of pork rinds or chips, grabbed a handful, crunched them, sprinkled them on the wings, then wipe his hands on his tshirt- not a uniformed chef's smock, just a regular tshirt. Honestly, it was appalling and so unhygienic. What was truly mindboggling was that he was doing all this in full view of guests sitting in the lobby.

Over all good experience, staff very helpful and professional. The bathrooms in the room need updating. The fact that Diamond and gold members no longer get comped breakfast but just a credit that does not cover the meal is causing me to look for alternative brands of hotels that want my business.

If I could give this review 10 - stars I would and if I ever have to travel to Lancaster again I'll be staying here again. Yes, the hotel is a bit dated, but it will be undergoing renovations soon. Our room was extremely clean...I'm not a person who ever steps on the floor of a hotel in bare feet, but I did here. The beds were comfy, the room didn't have any bad smells (I've been at other hotels recently that just smelled awful), and the water pressure in the shower was amazing.

The staff was very friendly, the area the hotel was located in is a very safe area, and was about 10 minutes away from everything we had to do.

I highly recommend this place! We were in room 253.

I booked this property with arrival on November 6th for 4 nights. I was assigned Room 294 on the Second Floor near to the main lobby/front desk area.

Admittingly, I was a bit hesitant to book based on some of the reviews; however, I had an excellent stay.

All staff that I encountered were very nice. The pool and fitness area is very nice. I did not use the restaurant at all during my stay. Parking is plentiful and free. You are a slight bit removed from the most touristy part of town; however, in an excellent location in the middle of everything else.

My room was excellent. Many people are saying that this hotel is in dire need of renovation. Well, yes and no.

First of all, this property has a very unique layout, unlike any Hilton property I have ever seen. My Room (294) was very, very clean. Although some of the furnishings are a bit older, everything was well taken care of. In addition, it appeared some parts of the room including the carpet, walls, ceiling, etc were recently redone. The bed was very comfortable. My room was interior facing to one of the courtyards and was very quiet.

The only thing I would love to see them improve upon is the bathroom/toilet area. The bathroom is tiny and the toilet is truly made for a very small person.

However, overall, I have to give it a 4 out of 5 rating, and would definitely stay again in the future.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lancaster, PA as part of a church group bus trip. This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The rooms were large with amenities (mini-fridge, coffee maker, microwave) and everything was so clean and felt new. We all raved the next morning about the great night's sleep we had on the very comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices and was very good. Add to that the staff in all areas was genuinely friendly and helpful. With our coach bus it was about 20 minutes from the Amish Experience in Bird-in-Hand, PA and about 30 minutes from the Sight and Sound theater in Ronks, PA.

This hotel has a unique arrangement. It only has two floors, is mostly rectangular, and the inside rooms either face the main courtyard, another small courtyard, or the lobby area. First-floor inside rooms have a sliding-glass door, and corner second-floor rooms have a balcony. So, it has enormous potential. The problem is that the hotel is in desperate need of renovation. Our room had cracked grout in the bathroom (which was very small). The toilet (kids height!) had a loose seat and must have been leaking water from the tank, since the tank filled up periodically when not in use. The furniture is old, the carpet is old, etc. We stayed here on this trip because it was the least expensive of the Homewood (across the street) or the Home2 Suites (very new) on a weekend when everything was sold out. Of the three Hilton properties in the area (near our grandchildren), I rate this third and the Home2 Suites first.
