We love Hilton brand and love Home2 Suites. For the amenities this place is not short of other Home2 Suites. The kitchenette has everything we need to prep and eat a simple meal. Beds are clean. Staff were helpful. The pool is decent size and clean without any strong odor. Unfortunately we found a huge issue (at least to me) -- there is mold all along the bottom of the shower door. Then it raised my alarm to look into details. There are scum hidden on the sink faucet as well. Eweee... hope they could fix these mold and scum issues. A Home2 Suites should be better than this.
We stayed in a king room for three nights on the third floor #322. The room was spacious and we loved the movable oval table to eat by the couch and also the mini kitchen. The carpeting could use some cleaning and breakfast could be extended to 10 am. We thought 9am was a bit early. This hotel allows pets so keep that in mind if you have allergies. The walk in shower was nice. We brought our own dish soap and hand soap for the kitchen. Paper towels were provided. The location was great for day trips. We loved driving the backroads of Intercourse and Bird in Hand. Stolzfus Deli was our go to spot for eating. We also liked Kitchen Kettle Village and Old Candle Barn for shopping. We did the Strasburg Railway trip one morning. Across the street from the hotel was a Starbucks and Whole Foods where we bought food to eat in the room. The staff were very friendly. Special thanks to Brandy. We will be back in the fall hopefully.…
This hotel fit our needs perfectly for a one night stay. The room was exactly what we needed, but there were issues. 1. The staff was not available and were not customer oriented. 2. The dishes were in the dishwasher and we had no idea if they were clean. 3. The sink in the bathroom did not drain. 4. The shower gel in the shower was virtually empty.. as the first to shower, there was just enough air and many pumps to get an amount to lather. I made do, and my husband used the sink soap. Topping everything was our room was noisy, mechanical room adjacent to the bed and constant running and jumping in the room above. Disappointed . This reflects badly on the Hilton brand.
Newer establishment in a convenient location for visiting the area. Nearby restaurants and grocery stores. Our room (206) smelled. It smelled like people. This is a hotel built fairly recently. I'm left wondering if, when there aren't many guests, they place those guests in the same few rooms. The kitchen sink had deep scratches. Everything already seemed worn. The weekend we were there, the hotel seemed fairly full. It is quiet in the rooms - heard very little from anyone else. Breakfast sandwiches were frozen/microwaved and barely warm to the touch. One bite and we ate elsewhere. The coffee was excellent! The staff were, apparently, taught not to smile. Will not return.
Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was plentiful with both cold and hot foods - lots of seating in the breakfast area. We went to Intercourse and Bird in Hand while staying at this hotel and it was very convenient.
This is our second time staying here. We love the location across the street from Whole Foods. Rooms are spacious with a mini kitchen. Comfortable mattress. Big bathroom with lots of counter space. Free breakfast. About 20 minutes or so drive from Amish country sites. Note elevators are on one end of long hallways near ice machines. I was told by front desk you need to give 24 hours notice to get your room serviced. Otherwise ask for towels and put your trash in the hallway. There is no note of this in the room. All in all we would stay here again. We’ve also stayed at the Hampton Inn which is also nice.
Recently had an issue with our reservation but supervisor Anthony was useless. As a Hilton member this is the only hotel I have ever had a problem. He refused to recognize the issue or even attempt to provide help. Stay elsewhere
Stayed for one night. Staff was good, however the cleanliness of Room 403 was not so great. There were hairs on the tiled kitchen area and on on one of the shelves in the refrigerator. The carpet in the room was very soiled and stained and there were more hairs found in the bathroom tiled floor.
Went here for college tours. Good location near shopping & restaurants. Indoor pool & laundry. Nice staff. Big suite with sitting area & kitchenette. Comfy beds & pillows. Clean. Lots of counter space. Negatives - breakfast included but only runs to 9am (should go to 10am, but food was good), bathroom door is a pocket door & did not shut well or lock. Overall very good.
We always feel welcome by a friendly staff. The room is always clean and comfortable. The location of thr hotel was perfect to a new shopping area with nice restaurants. The Hilton family of hotels is our first choice. The Home2Suites is our favorite.
