Amazing house, and gracious hosts. Diane and Scott go above and beyond to ensure their guests have an experience that will be unforgettable. The house is roomy, comfortable, and full of character. Our room (we stayed in the Murphey Room) was well appointed, immaculately clean, and totally charming. The highlight for me was the breakfast...great food, engaging conversation with other...

The EJ Bowman B&B is an excellent base location for touring the Amish countryside around Lancaster. Diane & Scott go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The communal kitchenette is so well stocked with goodies that they could realistically stop there, but they sure don't! The breakfast offering out does itself...more than enough to keep...

This is an outstanding B&B in every way. Diana and Scott were delightful. We stayed in the Murphey Room which was cozy, immaculate and included nice amenities like a small refrigerator. (Twin beds in this room can be converted to a king bed which we requested. It was one of most comfortable beds we’ve experienced. We would never have known...

The perfect place to stay when visiting Lancaster! Such a beautiful building. The history and architecture are so interesting. Accommodations were perfect; food was delicious; innkeepers were warm, friendly, and the best! They share so much information and you will know all the places to go to enjoy lancaster fully! A must stay and we will be back!

Our stay at EJ Bowman House was delightful. Scott and Diane have established a very comfortable B&B in a grand old house. The setting is very impressive but we were made to feel very welcome and Diane went above and beyond to be helpful and to make our stay comfortable. The rooms and facilities are thoughtfully presented with a lot...

The hosts were so accommodating; we arrived after midnight on a Monday evening, and were treated very kindly. Breakfast and coffee at 9am in their beautiful dining room, followed by a few quiet moments enjoying the lush and tranquil garden in the back. Would definitely recommend the EJ Bowman House, and would definitely stay there again.

We spent a very comfortable and enjoyable 5 days here visiting family in the area. Our room was very nice with the amenities you would expect at a B&B of this quality. As good as the breakfasts were( and they were quite good), the conversation was better. Scott and Diane are welcoming and knowledgeable hosts. We had a great time,...

Beautiful property all around-inside and out. House and rooms are cozy, with enough common space to be comfortable out of your room. The garden and cascade pond out back are also nice and it wasn't even in full bloom since it was April. Nice amenities, including snacks and drinks available anytime. Scott and Diane are very welcoming and accommodating. They...

If you are planning a visit to the Lancaster area then the EJ Bowman House is the place to stay! Our wonderful hosts, Diane and Scott, attended to our every need with meticulous detail. The home is immaculate, the bed was "dreamy" and the breakfasts were scrumptious. The location is perfect, close enough to all the spots you would want...

Stayed 2 nights. Home is spotlessly clean and very well stocked for all of your comfort needs. Breakfast was delicious both mornings-- sweet and Savory days! I think the beautiful garden in the back could be a real plus in the summertime. Thanks Scott and Diane
