We've stayed here at least once a year for the last 5 years and will continue to do so because of the suites, proximity to Sesame, good breakfast, parking and friendly staff. This time we were disappointed that our swim morning was cut very short because the pool was not heated. It was freezing. My daughters went in anyway and their hands were ice cold and they were shivering. I wish the pool had been heated so we could swim awhile as planned for our last day. I thought it was heated year round since we swam last December but guess that changed. Water pressure in our shower was also very light but everything else was great.

Studio room feels so homey. They seriously thought of every detail -- a full kitchenette with dishes, dishwasher, clean dishcloth and towel, fresh sponge, dish detergent, can opener, corkscrew, full coffee pot, etc.; a long comfy desk AND cute high-top dining table for two; many cool lamps with different color temperatures; a TV that swivels so you can easily watch it in bed or from the table. Very clean and comfortable, with warm, friendly staff and fellow guests.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to Sesame Place and it was perfect! It is very clean and well maintained. Breakfast is included and there are so many options including a small selection of hot foods. Our room was large and had a full kitchen which was handy for travelling with 2 toddlers who snack constantly. We enjoyed the pool every afternoon. There is a free shuttle to Sesame Place which was easy to use and saved us parking fees. There are lots of stores and restaurants nearby. The best part of our stay was the staff - in particular Daraja and Justin! They are both so friendly and welcoming and were great with our kids. We would definitely stay here again!

We are avid travelers and have always loved staying at this hotel while visiting Sesame Place. We were terribly dismayed when on arrival we were told our room would not be cleaned at all during our stay. Four days where they refused to change our trash, bedding, or even vacuum the floor. We have a crawling baby and would not dream of going a day without cleaning the floor at home. The staff was wonderful, and were clearly being forced to deal with the rules of a corporation that is using COVID19 as an excuse to just stop cleaning rooms. I work in medicine and I assure you a room can be safely entered to clean it. We have recently stayed in a Hilton, a Hyatt and at Legoland NY. They all somehow managed to safely clean our rooms while we stayed. Not to mention the room wasn’t exactly
spotless to start. I found pieces of plastic in the corners our baby easily could have swallowed. Again, we do not blame the staff who were polite, helpful, and clearly overworked and understaffed. While the employees suffer I’m sure the CEO of Marriot is enjoying a raise this year, we certainly will not be contributing to it again.

I sold my house in 2020 and moved to the residence inn soon after that., I thought I would be there a few weeks or a month but that stay ended up being 11 months. I was given a room that had multiple issues one of them being no heat , a shower that did not work correctly , a broken window, issues with plumbing and more. Why because no had reported them So when I did they acted surprised. When I left 11 months later some of the same issues remained and the staff acted annoyed that people had to come to my room often to fix things. Well the hotel needs more staff and needs to pay attention to what guests say. I would not recommend them for long term stays for sure. And the mattresses are stained and lumpy and they refuse to replace them even though they are more then 10 years old. it was beyond disgusting to see the condition of the mattresses and to hear well you just have to make do as most of the rooms look this way some even worse then yours. Really. They just spent money to have the hotel power washed and painted to entice you to come but what about the rooms where people stay. I am more interested in that and I was not the only one to have issues with plumbing, and heat. And I had a problem with both tv's that was never resolved and sorry I paid for a room with working tv's and 11 months later nothing had been done to correct the problem except replacing some wires that clearly did nothing. god forbid they get outside help in to fix anything in the hotel, that is frowned upon and they insist their maintenance crew all of two guys do the work and if they cannot fix it oh well. It took four months for a real phone guy to show up and replace wiring and such so the house phone would work. Come on now. the phone man was blown away when he heard how long I had waited for a repair and asked what their problem was and pointed out the phones are old and outdated and if they upgraded this might not have happened but most people use a cell phone so they do not worry but this is how they communicate with guests from the front desk to your room. I mean it is unreal how the place is run and some of the staff do care and others are just okay because they are paid to be nice to the guests. Some of the staff are geniune and others seem only to care about collecting your money on a weekly basis and they never forget to remind you of what is owed like you are going to run away when you have no place to go and are traveling with an animal. And it seems if you are going to point out defects in the hotel or the way things are run then you are labeled a problem person and treated much differently then those that chose to ignore the problems they might have and that is not fair. they need some retraining in how they think and mattresses and such need to be replaced in every room and attention to detail is needed. I cleaned my own room the whole time I was there and never bothered anyone but in the end my room was sold for the thanksgiving holiday and I got little notice to vacate. Not the way to treat someone who had been there that long. I ended up leaving but not in the way that I would have wanted to go. SO said stay if you are going to be there short term and if not realise you might have issues with the place and they might not get solved.

Arrived a Sunday night and was assigned a room in the third floor, the aisles were full of trashbags outside the rooms, when we were approaching to our room we smelled cigarrette smoke, fortunately it was not in our room but the one in front, as soon as we shut the door the environment was different, the room was clean. We stayed 5 nights so I requested housekeeping on Wednesday and was denied using the COVID rant... (yes, October 2022), a lot of pets and smells related to pets in the place, just imagine the combination of smells with people cooking food, leaving trash bags out for long periods, pets all around and no housekeeping in rooms for at least a week... definitively won't stay here in the next future.

The rooms are spacious and clean. Good breakfast assortment with real plates and silverware. We stayed a week in a 2 BR suite. My daughter-in-laws family joined us for two nights in another 2 BR suite and they placed our rooms close together. Staff friendly and when there was a mix up about cleaning the room they gave us fresh towels and the desk staff took our trash. The pool was nice and warm and jacuzzi great. We took our 4mo grandson for his first swim.

This was absolutely the perfect Sesame Place hotel choice. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and things were explained well to us. From there, the shuttle ride was wonderful. Lori did a great job connecting with the kids in the shuttle while also informing the adults.

The room itself was perfect, with the door between the main bedroom and the living area providing a great chance to relax as adults after bedtime. Add in a pool and hot tub, and this was the perfect choice!

My check-in process was SubPar. Seemed like the lady at the front desk was new and didn't know what she was doing. As a platinum member i can tell pretty quickly. First sign was her finishing her meal before greeting me in the doorway of the office. I asked for early check in and immediately was denied. It was about 1pm or so. She didn't check the system, no taking my name for a call when a room was ready. It took me bringing in my 8 month child for feeding and speaking to other representatives of the hotel to suddenly have a room which i was very grateful. The same lady attempted to check me in and rather than go through the situation of the hotel with breakfast, she asked me if i got the email and my response was no. So she handed me a piece o paper rather than run through the hotel amenities. I kinda felt that was the lazy way out.

When i got to my room it was clean and what i would expect from a residence inn hotel except all that was cooling my room was a little air conditioner in the window that barely could keep up. The issue of this is, keeping a 8 month old asleep i had to debate weather to have cool air in the room or light shining in to keep him up. Still very grateful for the hotel to accommodate.

I did have a very pleasant experience with eating in the lobby for dinner after i put my baby to bed. My wife and i got takeout and monitored my room via a app. The front desk staff was kind enough to turn on lights and make sure we had what we need to enjoy the lobby away from our baby for a bit.

As we checked out I asked for a late check out and was only allowed 2pm but since this isn't a resort or convention hotel, i should have been Guaranteed 4pm checkout due to my bonvoy status.

All in all a nice hotel that hotel that has taken great precautions due to the circumstances of the world. Its just those little things they could improve on that would make a world of difference to the struggling hotel industry.

Dear Kawtsu, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. My sincerest apologies that we were unable to honor the 4pm late checkout as preferred. We do our vary best to accommodate early check ins and late checkouts whenever possible. Being right next to Sesame Place, this is difficult at times - especially with the extra sanitation that we complete between guests due to Covid. I'm glad to hear that your stay was for the most part a pleasant one including the clean room and lobby experience. We hope to see you again in the future and show you all we can offer. Thank you again for your time, patience, understanding and Marriott loyalty. Stay safe!

Had to visit the area for family funeral. We are pretty loyal Marriot Residence Inn travelers, and this was probably the nicest one we've stayed in. Property was very updated and modern. Front desk staff was courteous and they were able to accommodate an early check-in request on a Thursday afternoon. Our studio room was well laid out and very comfortable. I love the large TV that swivels to face the TV or living room. Various pillows in different thicknesses enabled a custom sleep experience. Great value for the money. My only (small) gripes were - the lobby coffee wasn't consistently refilled, and we needed some change for a $20 to leave a housekeeping tip, and were told it was a cashless facility, so we were not able to break a bill to leave a tip. It would also be great if they would add EV charging for guests. We were probably there during a particularly quiet season with school being in session, but we saw zero children during our stay and the property was quiet and serene. Would not hesitate to return.

We were there at the beginning of June, so they weren't really busy. The driver just waited at the front desk for anyone that wanted to go so we never had to wait. Then she asked us to call her if she wasn't at the gate when we were ready to leave. I think in peak season, she probably runs every 15 minutes or so.....I would call the hotel to double check that though. It was wonderful having the Shuttle - they take you over there, drop you off right at the front gate and pick you up when you're ready to come back. No struggles to park or no long walks to the front gate from parking!
