We were thrilled to find a cute, comfy cottage right outside of Ligonier that had a pet-friendly unit. We met Jen, the owner, as we were going in. She was friendly and helpful, going over a few things & asking if we had any questions. Her restaurant, Hanleys, is right up the road so very convenient. We got takeout for dinner that was very good. The cottage was spacious and clean, providing all the amenities. The bathroom shower is large and modern and the bedrooms have nice furniture and plenty of storage. It is along Rt. 30 so there is quite a bit of traffic during the day, but it does quiet down at night. The leaves were at their peak while we were there, making it even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

With COVID-19 messing up our trip to the beach we decided to go to Ligonier for a break. After contacting Jen & found out that there was a cottage available that was pet friendly. The 2 bedroom cottage was clean & perfectly put together. Full kitchen, living room, nice bathroom with a shower and 2 perfect bedrooms. A fire pit was in front with chairs and a nice porch to sit out on. We will be back!

We loved our stay. I surprised my hubby. We rented a cottage, easy parking right next door. Keypad entry. The place was spotless and spacious! Yes, there is a little road noise but it didn't bother us at all. It was too cold to sit outside, but there were chairs on the porch. The TV has several options, like Netflix. Kitchen had silverware, pots and pans, etc. so you could certainly cook a meal if you wanted to go so. We went down the road to Hansley's for a delicious dinner. I bet it's a great place to stay in the summer to rest up after a day in the Laurel Highlands at Ohiopyle or Idlewild!

Shortly after we arrived Jen was there to welcome us and to see if we needed anything. Everything was perfect! The cottage was clean and well supplied. I hate motels and this was awsome. I felt as comfortable as being at home. Also close to an outstanding restaurant called Hansleys. I will definitely stay again at Sunset Cottages.

This is the first time we had ever used Airbnb. The cottage was great. Everything we needed for the weekend and more. It is quite deceptive, it is much larger than it looks from the outside. It was spacious, immaculate, comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. Just after we arrived Jen called at the cottage to see if we needed anything. Each room has its own AC control which was great and easy to use. There is really nothing bad I can say about our stay, fantastic and will return.
