I highly recommend the 1740 house to potential travelers. We stayed here the night before our wedding and our wedding night. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially Kim, Judy, and Richard. Our room was lovely and the cleaning staff refreshed it often. The breakfast was superb as well. My husband and I just stayed overnight for a friends wedding. Great service and a wonderful breakfast. The beautiful spacious room had a great view overlooking the water. Having your own deck with chairs was a plus. It is really worth staying here!

I took my wife for her Birthday as a surprise. They put flowers and a bottle of champagne in the room! There was a cool balcony overlooking the Del River. The rooms were old-looking and superclean. Very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and it was my favorite part about staying here. Stayed here for a wedding weekend. Great view of the river. Very clean. My room was cleaned while I was at breakfast and I didn't have to worry about leaving my things out. Hosts are very friendly.
