The Desmond really knows how to treat their customers like reality. My wife and I have dined there many times and have always found it very enjoyable. Be sure to try their bread pudding. We have also had large groups, family birthdays and our daughters wedding there. Each visit and event they treat us great

Stayed for a business trip in August of 2016. The hotel is antiquated and the room has old and dirty furniture. Maybe "antique"? There was food / leftovers from prior guest under the bed (disgusting). The bathtub was clearly old and there was little to not pressure on the shower. Disgusting experience. I hope I will never stay there again.

We arrived on Friday, August 12, 2016, to attend a wedding on Saturday. Check-in was a breeze. The staff was efficient and friendly. Our room was lovely with a king four-poster bed. We went to the Fox & Hound lounge for an appetizer and cocktail before the rehearsal dinner. Again, the server was friendly, and our drinks and appetizer were...

I stayed at The Desmond for a business conference. It's a really nice property that is well maintained, but somewhat dated. The staff and service were excellent - and the dinner/cocktails we had on the patio deck were perfect. Some of the common areas are do for an update though, as it looks like it was last refreshed 10-15 years...

Stayed at this hotel twice in past month. Both times weddings we're going on and parties in adjacent rooms until late in the evening (3am or so). Very nice hotel, nice amenities and good food. We didn't get a ton of sleep on either stay

If you're going for ambiance, this isn't your place. But if you're looking for a really comfortable and clean place to stay, this is for you.Really comfortable beds and pillows, clean carpets and bathrooms. The decor is so outdated, though. Specifically the decor in the main lobby and hallways, and just a little outdated in the rooms. One note: the...

I stayed at the Desmond about a week ago for a meeting. Arrived on Friday afternoon and checked out on Sunday. Front desk staff was very friendly and quick to check us into our room. The overall feel of the hotel is a little dated from a room perspective. You can hear a lot of hallway and neighboring room noise...

The decor of the hotel is dated, but the cleanliness and quiet of the rooms along with the friendly staff more than made up for it. The restaurants had very good food and service as well, but also suffered from a dated decor and ambiance.

I stayed 2 days for business. The location was perfect, and the staff was quite helpful. They even provided directions on how to find my work location. The lobby had snacks in the late afternoon, but the strawberry and lemon water was refreshing. The salad and filet from room service were perfect, and I am sorry that I didn't order...
