I made reservations for two rooms October 2013. Received my confirmation email and was all set to go. We were traveling from NY to PA. Two days before hand I kept receiving phone calls checking to make sure I was going to still be arriving in town for our rooms. I had told the manager that half of my party would be arriving a few hours before me and gave them permission to check into the rooms (209 and 210).

They arrived and phoned me telling me that the manager refused to let them check in, even though I gave permission and my ID and credit card are on file. He informed them that if they wanted to go into the room before I arrived, that they would need to pay in cash. Once I arrived- a nightmare broke loose so to speak.

The man working behind the counter would not even answer my questions until I provided my ID and credit card. He ran my card before the paper work and became VERY angry that I was questioning what was happening. Once my card was ran he informed me that they gave our rooms away and took the liberty of giving us two rooms- opposite sides of the hotel with one bed per room. We reserved two smoking double bed rooms and received the complete opposite.

Unhappy with the situation, I calmly disputed what was happening. He became even angrier and informed me that this was all they had and they would give us an extra pillow and blanket. The LAST they had in the entire motel.

Unsatisfied and annoyed, late into the night, we decided to just stay since all other rooms were booked in surrounding hotels.

Room 210 and 246 is what we were given. 210 needed to have a line backer run full force into the door to open it. Inside smelled of stale cigarettes, filth. The bed was stained with urine and adult fluids. The bathroom was so disgusting, we decided to just go get a refund and leave. Sleeping in our vehicles would be better than what was in this room.

Upon returning to the front desk, the man was EXTREMELY rude and we were informed that there was nothing he could do since housekeeping is not in. Angry and tired, the man finally agreed to refund me for the one room. Once refunded he informed me that I would be charged extra since all of my friends had to sleep in one room. I refused and he told me that he was done and we walked out.

On the way to our "room" (246) we noticed strange men lingering around the hotel, filthy building conditions and decaying staircases. We had to once again "line backer" open our door to discover a semen stained bed, 2" of dust and debris on the floor. The bathroom had A BLOOD CLOT stuck to the side of the toilet and urine all over it including the dried puddle on the floor. Open bars of soap and a three inch gap on the room door to the outside.

When morning came and we could see in the daylight- we were MORTIFIED. It was so much worse in the light. Dirt, body fluids, HUMAN TOES NAILS, more urine LARGE bugs ect. We decided to leave asap and never look back.

The woman at the front desk refused to listen to the complaints about what happened with our reservations and the unsympathetic keeper the night before. She called the manager who informed her to tell us we are SOL and hung the phone up on her. The woman then ignored us and when we asked if she would stay in those conditions, she replied with "No, never". When we informed her that we DID and paid for it, she became angry and went on to take another customer, who was there to complain for the EXACT same reasons.

This is honestly, the WORST hotel any of us have EVER stayed at and urge you to go elsewhere. I have called corporate but doubt anything will come of it. Even with photo evidence of this place. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this nightmare and the headache that comes with it..

Rooms were not clean - stains on the carpet, what looked to be mold on the wall, stains on the comforters, the few towels that were provided were dirty and stained.
The customer service was horrible.
Please do yourself a favor and do not stay here.

My wife and I brought our 8 month old child with us from out of state to attend a funeral for a family member. After a long night at the viewing, we arrived at the motel exhausted and ready to check-in. Words do not express how dissatisfied I am with our stay.
After receiving our room key for room 341, we walked up a very filthy and muddy set of stairs. There was mud and dirt all over the walls and stairs. Either a bus just dropped off a group of farmers covered in mud or they had not been swept in a LONG time.....weeks? Months?
Then we get to our room. We had brought our dinner with us, and upon opening the door, we were hit with an aroma that made us nauseous to the core. We specifically selected a "smoke free" room. If this is a smoke free room, I'm not sure how its possible to breathe in the others that are not. My wife immediately looked at me and asked "are you kidding!?" There were stains on the bed, burn marks from cigarettes in the carpet, and the smell was so bad we both lost any desire to eat the one and only meal of the day after a long day of traveling, emotions and stress. The internet, even though "free" was more stress than it was worth. I don't know if wifi is simply offered so that you can advertise that it exists, but it's practically a fossil, might as well just call it dial up. it was too slow to even run a speed test on, let alone upload any webpages., couldn't send an email....and don't even think about streaming Netflix on an ipad. using my phone as a hotspot was definitely a much greater experience. We wake up the next morning, both smelling terrible, our throats and eyes burning from the wreaking smell and even after taking showers, our clothes smelled pathetic, and our 8 month old smelled like smoke and cried much of the night having a difficult time sleeping as well. Not the type of way you want to arrive at a funeral, ready to hug and love on friends and family smelling like we did. It was embarrassing! Definitely not what we needed to add to a week that was already difficult to handle with the passing of a family member. We were ready to eat and enjoy a good nights sleep,....and yet their facilities were so poorly taken care of that it prevented us from doing either. I am so thankful we only needed a room for one night, as I cannot fathom the thought of having to come back and don't know how anyone can enjoy their stay here. This will, by far, be remembered as our worst experience and stay ever. We certainly don't recommend the motel 6 in cranberry PA. facilities, and if management is smart, they will make changes so that maybe someday, this motel won't be dreaded.

I'm not sure why my last review couldn't be posted, so I'll just let my photo's do all the talking about the room #246. My room was on the lower ground floor. All photo's where taken by me.
If I wasn't dead tired after driving 20 hours and not alone I would of left or if I would of had my wife along.

Traveling back from Washington by car is not fun but either way we did my wife and I and out cat Hugo (5 yrs old ) now it was late laste night July 3rd and well I heard motel 6 was supposed to be good. Well lets say room 203. Mold in the shower and the bed was just horrid I mean "no not happening" male sexual fluids in the sheets and so on and so forth. So then I asked to get a room change. Ok no problem. Went to the next room 111. Well damn upon opening the door I am hit with what smells like cottage cheese. Throw up. Mold. And some one just dropped a deuce in the toilet. Well we went in anyhow and bathe bathroom was spotless and the floor although I am not taking my shoes off and relaxing looked pretty clean. The beds (the most important part) stain after stain after stain. From the cover blanket to the mattress. So I took all the coverings to the front desk and asked for a new set. " we are sorry we don't have extra". All our sheets have stuff on them. Alittle here alittle there. No big deal. Ewwwwww so after I get my money back and back the car and leave. It's 1130 I was just on the road for 12 and a half hours. Went to comfort inn across the street. Read that review. DO NOT STAY HERE. U MAY CATCH SOMETHING

The staff only cleans rooms once a week and I rented 2 rooms for a week while in town working. The staff only cleaned the rooms once a week and when we checked in they hadn't been cleaned. The staff can't understand English so translating is hard to do. If you want more than the 1 towel they give you a week than you have to take your old one to the office

My husband made these reservations for us to stay in while he worked in Cranberry. We checked in at 12:00 am Sunday morning. We didn't pay attention to the room because we were tired from driving. We woke up the next morning to find the room was not clean and the bathroom was even worse. We have an 8 month old daughter and I would NOT let her out of my arms. I told my husband to check us out immediately. So he went to the front desk and said he got a refund but that we wouldn't get refunded for 2 nights because it was already after check out time. About 2 hours later, I get a call from the front desk saying we had to get out now and that it was already refunded for that room. 5 minutes later the RUDE housekeeper said we had to get out now. So I pack up all my things literally in 2 minutes with a baby in my arms. I was NOT happy. I just saw on my bank account that I was refunded today, and guess what, I was charged for both nights. So Why did I have to get out when I paid for that night!?!

If you have a family DO NOT stop here. Worst hotel ever. Red Roof Inn is worth the extra money in my opinion.

Very poor room service. Over crowded parking lot. If you get a room on the third floor it's filthy. We stayed weekly and every week they raised the prices. Every one in the office were basically rude. No microwaves in the rooms. Not the cleanest place to stay. If traveling with a family I don't recommend this motel.

We had previously stayed at this location and didn't have any issues. We had made reservations for two rooms. When we arrived there was a handwritten note on the door saying sold out. When we got to the desk they only had one room. We had driven 10 1/2 hours with three small children, who needed to rest. They told us we could all sleep in the same room (7) of us in two double beds. They had no cots, and told us to come to the front desk if we wanted extra blankets. When we got to the room, it smelled of marijuana, there was mold on the tub surround, and incredible dirt under the bed. The ice machine did not work. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear the people in the room next door. I question the clientele at this motel. Filthy and extremely poor customer service. The cost of the room was no different than a local competitor. DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION.
