We went in early October. Had a fantastic time. It was just my 3.5 year old daughter and I. I thought she would be able to hold/handle a few more animals. Perhaps if we had gone in spring.. My daughter didn't notice though and as I said she was thrilled and that's what mattered. She could not get enough. I did...

We just had an amazing stay here with our two kids, 9 and 6 years old. Sally and her husband keep the farm and the cottages in great condition and the kids had a blast feeding chickens, ducks, goats, sheep, horses and pigs! They held baby chicks and bunnies and picked pears off the pear trees to feed the pigs....

Ah, the country. Quiet and peaceful. Cooler than the cities and lots of neat things to do, especially if you are a child...or, even if you once were one! Mountain Dale Farm is a great place to take the whole family, like we did, this past week. Four generations under one beautiful, old roof. We stayed in the Log Cabin,...

I am in the process of booking our 4th annual trip to Mountain Dale Farm. My boys LOVE coming here, and last year asked Ms. Sally, the owner, if they could move to the farm. We help out with the farm chores in the morning and evening, and visit the caves (Woodward cave and the Penn's cave) during the day....

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend away. Upon arriving at the Farm, we checked in and gathered some eggs from the hen house for our morning breakfast. We stayed in the New Cabin, it was very nice, clean, and comfortable. It has a full kitchen for making breakfast and they also sell steaks at the farmhouse that we made for...

Our first time here.....spent 3 nights in the Richard's Cottage, we had 4 adults and two 9-year olds, they loved feeding the animals and holding the baby goats and bunnies. We also befriended the farm cats. The game room was fun with a pool table and ping pong. There are some small grills available. Knoebels is about an hour away,...

My girlfriend and I have been coming here since 2006. We always stay in the New Cabin which is ideal for two people. If you like cats this is definitely the place to come. Just about every year we see new cats and often kittens. We took one home in 2009 and another one this year. There are two recent...

We had a wonderful relaxing time on the farm. We spent 2 nights. We enjoyed walking the grounds, hanging out on the porch of our cabin and talking to other guests. The highlight of the trip of course was when our 2 daughters were able to feed the animals. It was an amazing experience and they went above and beyond...
