The room (207) was comfortable, the location very nice, and the atention was polite and breakfast was adecuate, though we had two issues (thus a 4 star and not 5). The room next door had a fire alarm chirping, which was common knowledge to the staff - then why put us in the room next door? The bathroom fan was...

This is our third time here, this is the place to stay in the area, quiet, well appointed and well managed. We met friends here for their first time in the area and they loved it. Clean rooms, well maintained.

We were visiting several of the Brandywine Valley sights and found this "gem" among them. It was a great location, easy to find, helpful staff and very comfortable rooms. The complimentary breakfast was a bonus, with lots of menu selections. A nice to stay at a place other than a chain! There is a restaurant and lounge on site but...

We had not been here in a number of years and picked it for Sunday brunch due to midpoint location for meeting friends from Maryland. We drove right past it, as the old restaurant we recall is replaced. New building is lovely. Brunch was not the best we've seen but pretty close. Service was efficient and pleasant. Certainly not a...

Stayed one night and found the staff friendly, room quiet and beds comfortable. I thought the price for the accommodations was reasonable. The complimentary breakfast was much nicer than many places we've been too. Scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, etc, nicely tended to by very pleasant staff. Frig and microwaves in room is a nice bonus but...

Excellent Stay. Came in for a wedding, on 9/10/2016 and there were actually two going on at the same time, starting one hour apart. Everyone checked in and piled into the bar area before attending their respective weddings. The staff and bartenders were very pleasant as they were swamped all at once! The drinks and apps were perfect. The rooms...

Check your credit card--they double charged for the room--billing the wedding couple and then billing the vendor guest. Our room was dirty, trash and dirt behind night stand. Wasn't impressed for the amount of money they charge.

the room is nice and the it's a decent hotel but it's farily overpriced and it smells like raw sewage and for almost $200 a night i shouldn't have to hold my nose, but the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

We booked two rooms for a family get together, and we are glad that we did. This hotel is first-class, despite being a good value for the area. It is almost next door to Longwood Gardens, and the other major attractions of the area. It is in a nice quiet, scenic setting. The rooms are roomy, comfy, and attractive. The...

The Inn at Mendendall was a wonderful place to relax and to just enjoy the quiet atmosphere at the Inn. My husband and I booked this hotel because we had tickets to the Joey Alexander's show at the Longwood Gardens. By the way, this hotel is only 2 miles away from the Gardens so the location is perfect if you...
