We traveled to the Lancaster, PA region on the weekend of Veteran's Day to see a Dutch Apple production of Saturday Night Fever and then to the AMT's Christmas Show. Not knowing what to expect relative to our lodging choice at the Sleep Inn and Suites in Mountville, we decided to make reservations. We were greeted by a fine staff at the registration desk and quickly checked in with our prior reservations. Our room was ready and clean. We found our cleaner by the name of CHRIS wonderful and he made sure any concerns or wishes were addressed personally by him. He kept our room clean and always made certain that we had all the towels we were in need of. Breakfast was much better than expected...waffles, sausage, breakfast sandwiches, danish, muffins, bagels, cereal, and various juices and coffee. On a morning with a "full house" the dining area can get crowded quickly, but one had a few other areas to pursue their breakfast. All employees had smiles on their faces. KUDOS to the wonderful staff. There is a nice indoor pool that seemed to be clean too. Would recommend this spot especially if you are spending some time just west of Lancaster itself.

We stayed here for one night as a halfway point, for going to Gratz PA sky vu Drive in theatre and Lancaster.

The staff was friendly.

We stayed in room 310. The room was clean. Two double beds and a beverage refrigerator. The negative to this refrigerator was that I was not able to refreeze my ice pack for the small cooler we had. The shower was great we would have liked a little more water pressure but it was still a good head only shower. There is no tub. The coffee maker was nice and while they had coffee there were no tea bags, which was kind of a bummer, but we survived as they had some down at the lobby coffee station.

The room utilized good space. Although I don t get the swivel desk chair with arms in the room it takes up too much space as it doesn’t fit all the way under the desk/dresser combo.

The pool was closed, so we didn’t utilize that aspect.

We missed the continental breakfast by 30 minutes on our Sunday stay. It was open from 7 am to 10.

Overall, I would stay here again.

My mother and I travel to Lancaster every year for the past 10+ years and stay at the different hotels in the area. She is an above the knee amputee so she requires handicap accessibility. This hotel did accommodate us with a floor level room and accessible tub and the hotel staff was exceptionally nice. However, the bathroom was not very attractive having a sink with no counter space, the wall had previous water damage and was falling into the tub. The room had a musty odor and the carpet was dirty. The worst part of it all was the breakfast. We went down early to breakfast and there was very little available. I would have to say this is probably one of the worst places we have stayed in Lancaster.

I wanted to share my experience at this hotel during Thanksgiving vacation in 2023. Unfortunately, it was a pretty terrible one. The price of the room seemed competitive compared to others in the area, except for the expensive luxury hotels that were out of my budget. It was conveniently located, which is why I chose it for my family getaway.

Although the hotel was a bit outdated, I didn't mind as I had stayed in similar places before. However, the cleanliness of the room was a major concern. As soon as we walked in, there was a big stain on one of the chairs that looked like someone had spilled something or worse. The refrigerator still had leftovers from the previous guest, and the shower had mold and dirt all over the floor and glass.

To make matters worse, when we returned to the hotel after a night out, we discovered roaches in the bathroom. We hadn't seen them when we checked in, but from that point on, they were always there whenever we came back. It was extremely frustrating.

When we expressed our concerns to the front desk, we were met with indifference. The receptionist, who also happened to be the manager, told us they were fully booked and couldn't offer us any alternative solutions. We tried looking for other hotels, but being Thanksgiving weekend, everything was booked. So, before heading home, we had to find a laundromat in town to thoroughly clean our clothes and make sure we didn't bring any unexpected guests home with us.

I found the hotel's response disrespectful and lacking empathy. Their attitude towards my situation was disappointing, and I believe that customers should be informed about the roach problem. Nobody deserves to go through what we experience.

The staff are wonderful and helpful. I was just looking for a clean bed and a hot shower while my daughter and I were in town for a few days at a sporting event. DO NOT pay or stay if you are given room 119. Upon entering, the room reeks of mold and mildew. It’s so moist and damp. You’ll soon realize that when you go to shower, the entire HANDICAP bathroom floods—the entire bathroom. Behind the toilet, under the sink, and worst of all, out onto the carpet of the room entry. When I called to report it, I quickly learned that all staff knew and have too reported, yet are forced to rent this room. Luckily neither myself or my daughter are handicap, but for those who are, know that if the moist mildew air doesn’t upset your asthma, emphysema, COPD, etc., you will slip and fall into the lake that the bathroom becomes. The workers were wonderful and deserve a raise! They do not deserve the headache of being forced to rent this unsafe room that costs $. Shame on this owner for allowing this to go on. After having my room changed, I continued to experience headaches of the archaic key system. At one point the lock on my door was completely broken and maintenance had to be called to replace it with a REBUILT one. Again, the staff were wonderful—Wilma, Tanya, our floors housekeeper (I didn’t catch his name) were extremely accommodating and quick to act. That said, they do NOT deserve to work in such harsh conditions. Lastly, and this is petty, but worth noting in an era where we rely on our phones for alarms, all of the outlets were so old, my chargers were falling out and wouldn’t charge.

The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. This included the people at the front desk, housekeepers and breakfast room attendants. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The breakfast area was well supplied and the sausage was delicious.

This is nothing but a place to sleep. It’s old and haggard and smells musty. The sink is part of the bedroom so you wake your family up if you get up early to brush your teeth and put on make up. I know it’s a budget hotel but I just don’t understand why Choice Hotels is ok with dingy, smelly and just plain outdated and underwhelming hotels. Other budget chains do so much better.

From the time I arrived, I knew that my 2 day stay would be a good one. Tanya, at the reception desk, realized I had visited 20 months earlier. Although arriving early, she told me I could go up to my room, as it was already for me. I was to meet my daughter and son in law as we were to spend two days in the area being entertained at the Dutch Apple Theater and the American Music Theater. Breakfasts were simple but tasty. All areas were clean and parking was perfect for us. An ice cream venue along with miniature golf could be utilized right across the street as well. Two fine days in the Lancaster area was that much more rewarding with our stay at the Sleep Inn of Mountville, PA. Kudos to Tanya and the supporting staff.

We stayed here one night while visiting a friend who lives on the area. It’s a nice and clean hotel, with very comfy beds & pillows. Rooms are a little dated but very clean. Breakfast could use more hot items. Pool & hot tub great. I would stay there again.

Very comfortable bed and pillows. This was one of my best sleeps during a 2-3 week road trip. The hotel packs lots into a small room. The fridge even had a tiny freezer section.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. They offered good restaurant recommendations with specific advice about menu options.
