We took our 9 and 11-year-old grandkids here recently and stayed in the Gnome Home. We would certainly visit this campground again. It was clean and beautiful and not overly crowded during the weekdays. There is a great open field right in the middle leading down the lake where we took the grandkids fishing and paddle boating. The small mini-golf...

Let me start by saying this is one of the cleanest campgrounds I have ever been to, They take a lot of pride in the appearance. We stayed here the week of July 4th, arriving on the 4th so it wasn't crowded at all. As for our site (tent) it was fine mulch pad for tent and the rest was...

Stayed 4th of July weekend. Very beautiful resort. Big rigs should use the Morgantown exit of the PA Turnpike to Rt 10 to Rt 23 to Rt 625 to Yellow Hill Rd. Your GPS will take you another way but is difficult for a big rig. We traveled in a 38 Ft motor home. The camp ground is immaculate. Lots...

This was our 4th visit. We always stay in rentals. We decided to give the TIPI a try. That was a mistake. Keep in mind we love this rv Park. And it's usually pretty clean however it looks they they haven't cleaned that tipi since it was built. I didn't want to waive a fuss and it was a short...

My family & I visited Lake in Wood Resort this past weekend with friends. We had a miscommunication with our reservation booked by a friend that was confirmed but Kim & Jerome did work to resolve it and also gave us a discount on our site that wasn't requested and a golf cart for the weekend. They did also say...

This was our first visit to Lake in Wood. We were celebrating our daughter's birthday. Friday night weather was great...took fun rides on the golf cart we rented and toured the enormous grounds. Everything is beautiful! We loved sitting by "the fireplace" in the evening and enjoying complementary coffee. Finished our night with s'mores around the campfire. Heaven! Then came...

Make sure if you have a big rig you know about restrictions getting to this place. It is nerve racking, but it was worth it. We practically had the place all to ourselves. Most year rounders had already left and the kids were in school. We did not get to the pool, but enjoyed walking around the property. It was...

This is by far the cleanest, most beautiful campground we've been to. They are very friendly as well. They have a cute gnome cafe, indoor heated pool, outdoor pool & 2 kiddie pools, mini gold, shuffle board, laser tag, fishing, 2 playgrounds, outdoor fireplace, activites for kids and bike & golf cart rental. There is lots to do and the...

This is the 3rd year we visited Lake in Wood Resort and I enjoyed this trip even more than the last. This campground is without a doubt the nicest campground I have ever stayed in. We stayed the month of October under the No Tow plan, which means leave your camper on the site, pay and visit on the weekends....

We had a pretty nice 3 night stay here Columbus Day Weekend, 2015. The pros: The entire campground is kept immaculately. The roads are paved not stone. The rentals are adorable- so many cool options! We stayed in the green barn. Once inside our unit, we definitely felt like we were at home. Very nice interiors and the cabins were...
