Clean room with budget price. A place to lay your head. Beds and decor could use updating. Didn't notice the noise from the road although it is close. Big bonus is the delicious Macaluso's Italian Restaurant connected to this motel. Great food at a good price. Would stay here again due to the value of the room.

Down side: No fridge, microwave or coffee maker. Upside: Reasonably priced in a pinch on a holiday weekend during Fall Festival. Room was clean and the Maid service was very good. There is also a top notch restaurant attached to the Lodge. It was a great place to crash. We even got a Taco pizza and wings from down the...

No hot water, only feet from Route 209 (a busy interstate), no toiletries, carpet outside the room smelled awful. We arrived at around 7:00pm and I had to go to the attached restaurant in order to get the room key. The restaurant-bar was packed (the food did smell terrific) and there was only one bartender/waitress. After making/delivering drinks and delivering...

This was a second choice because nothing else was available locally. Our room was within 100 feet of the highway and our sleep was disturbed by passing cars, trucks and motorcycles all night long. It took forever to get luke warm water for the hand basin and shower. There was no shampoo and no hair dryer. There was no clock...

No hot water. No shampoo. Maybe I'm spoiled but I expect to be able to shower when I stay in a motel, even one this divey. My mom and I won't come back here just to save a few bucks. Miserable motel.

So we were looking for an inexpensive place to stay for a weekend retreat to the mountains when we came across Lantern Lodge on a google search. I had no trouble making the arrangements over the phone with the friendly staffer however I did have a difficult time getting into the room because the place was in lock down when...

There was no signage, so we almost got lost finding this place as they only advertise the restaurant. I was bullied to get there by 10:30PM, otherwise I wouldn't have been given a key to the room I paid for with my card over the phone, even though I explained I was at the hospital for a family emergency &...

I recently wanted to visit Jim Thorpe with my family and was unable to find available lodging in town. After doing some research I decided to stay a few miles away at the lantern. The rooms were very inexpensive considerably less than Jim Thorpe!! Not only was the price right but the rooms were clean and quaint. We were able...

First, I just want to state this review is not for the hotel. I couldn’t find the restaurant on its own anywhere in Trip Advisor. My girlfriend and I were in Jim Thorpe Pa on a birthday getaway as we had been many times before; we usually dine at Flow or Moya, two fine establishments right in town. Macaluso’s came...
