We booked our reservations months in advance and were traveling with another couple which we requested to be beside each other. When we arrived they had changed our site 6 sites away from friends.
The site we ended up with was shaded but unfortunately we had to endure a sewage odor!
The campgrounds were clean and quite but no amenities to speak of.

Unfortunately, we didn't do our research before booking here. We arrived for a long holiday weekend in 93 degree weather, to be told at the office there's no pool. What? We naively thought all KOAs had pools. Fortunately there is a beautiful community pool about 10 minutes away. $12 per adult I think.
Anyway, we stayed in a cabin, which was comfortable and lovely. Two suggestions: install a ceiling fan, and get a shorter shower curtain. But overall it was lovely. The grounds are clean and carefully maintained.

The weekend we were there appeared to be an Airstream gathering or convention. The entire campground was booked. I've read all the negative old reviews, and note they now really don't apply. There's a big sign saying "new management," and every time I called the office I spoke with Emily. She was consistently polite and helpful.
It's true there's not much to do here. The campground itself has a small playground and dog park. There are no beaches nearby. We booked a tour with Strasbourg scooters and played mini golf at Village Greens. Both are about 30 min away, and both were great. But this is a very rural area with "not much to do."

The campground was very quiet as we visited during the week in mid April. The occupancy rate was low, but even with a high occupancy this would seem to be a quiet location a bit off the beaten path. Many of the sites sit on a terraced hill with a great view of the Lancaster County farmland. You will often hear and see the horse and buggies traveling on the roads. There are just the basic amenities, as there is no swimming pool, however it's a good base for visiting the area and having a peaceful place with a view to set up camp.

Came to the KOA for a week vacation with family. I highly highly recommend this place. It over looks several Amish fields with a Amish bake shop right across the street that is open Friday and Saturday only. The bake shop was amazing and the family who own it was very friendly (cash only). Some Amish sisters came to the campground selling fresh strawberries. The campground was close to lots of Amish activities and was quiet and very clean. The bath house was very clean. The employees were friendly and gave us Amish cookies upon arrival. We have a 40 ft 5th wheel and it was very easy to enter, back into our spot, and leave. The spots had lots of room. We called when booking the sports and requested to be beside my parents and they did it with no issue. I will be back.

A quiet & peaceful stay in beautiful Amish country. Staff was very accommodating when we requested a reservation modification.
Will definitely stay here again. Bonus: local bakery right across the street!

Great locat in Lancaster Cionounry. Lots of nice, shady spots. We were especially impressed with the extra level of service given to us when we lost power. The office staff were especially helpful in getting us a lantern and some some snacks, as it was now dark. Props to Paul Harrison, the handyman, who came out at nine o'clock to check things out. He finally found the cause of the problem. Thank you, Paul! We will likely be back!

We stop at this KOA every year on our way to and from New England. The staff is very friendly, campsites level and quiet, and the scenery is beautiful. Laundry facility very clean, open 24 hours and is only $2 to wash and or dry.

This is a very neatly landscaped campground. It would please any camper with any type of site you would want whether it be full shade, partial shade or full sun. It is amazingly quiet and close to all attractions in the area. The lots are all gravel but level. My only complaint and I would have rated 5 starts is there is no pool. On a hot summer day as in July it would have been nice to jump into a pool for even a half hour. I do not believe there are any activities for kids either. A caveat to such a nice park. The X row has no shade or trees but a spectacular view of the valley.

Our great stay started with cookies at check in and a friendly staff. Our site was full hookups, 24 channels of cable too. We did not need to use the bathhouse, but did check them out and they are some of the cleanest we have seen. The views of the valley can be seen from a lot of the sites and camp is convenient to Lancaster and the Shady Maple buffet is 15 minutes. The camp is very quiet and peaceful so you can relax. There did not appear to be a lot for kids to do at camp if you are looking for that, but the area does have many kid friendly things to do. It appeared to be the older crowd here which is fine with us. Will be happy to go again.

Gorgeous views!
Basic but beautiful.

My family and I stayed (are currently staying) here over the long Veteran’s Day weekend 2022. Well situated in Lancaster County. We had a great time seeing all that the Amish Country has to provide. This KOA offered a quiet restful home base. We would definitely stay here again.

One note that prevents my review from being 5-stars: Our water was orange/brown during our stay. I’m no expert on water quality, and we use a great filter, so we weren’t worried about it terribly…. But if you don’t have a good filter available, I’d be cautious about drinking the water here.

"I prefer the sites with the woods behind the site. The sites on the side of the hill have a spectacular view of the valley however."
