The Porches on the Towpath may not be easy to find in New Hope but it sure is worth the search. Hidden away off the main street it is gem of an experience in a B&B that has many different looks and gardens and an owner, John, who goes out of his way to be inviting and to make your...

We stayed at Porches recently on a quick trip to New Hope (one night). Delightful little B&B with an ideal location for touring New Hope (1 minute walk to Main Street & parking on site). Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Stayed in room #10 – romantic & cozy (skylight in the shower), a bit small but perfect for get-away...

Such a wonderful property, tucked in a lovely garden, only steps away from the bustle of Main Street. John & his wonderful crew have thought of everything to help you relax & the decor is a wonderful mix of fine English antiques & lavish creature comforts. With the smaller rooms at a thrifty rate, splurge & take one of the...

Where do I begin. The place is overrun with weeds. Both the inside and outside look as though they have not been cleaned in years. Both inside and outside are very uninviting. Came in from a very hot and humid day and asked for a cold drink. Not only are there no cold drinks, but no snacks for guests. What...

I found this place by the reviews on trip advisor and it did not disappoint! My mom, sister, grandma and I wanted a little two night girls trip during the week and we couldn't have asked for a better spot. Centrally located in New Hope and a short walk to Lambertville nj, this lovely place offered everything we needed. First...

My husband and I stopped in New Hope on our way back home. I had made a reservation at Porches based on the TripAdvisor reviews. We were only staying one night so I wanted a place where we could be in the center of town to get the most out of our short stay. Sean welcomed us and let us...

Nice quaint bed and breakfast. It was a girls weekend and my friend made the reservations. The inn was a little small for me with the full bed but we made it work. The wraparound Porches on each floor were great for late night talks and drinks. The food served each morning was delicious. If you don't want what is...

They go far above and beyond with making sure your stay is enjoyable. We stayed recently for our first anniversary and the owner set a beautiful table with a...

Room was beautiful, spacious, cool on a hot day, shower great, bed great. Service was excellent! Breakfast casserole was to die for! Very quiet, even tho you are only150ft from the main street. Great choice, we will be going back soon The owner took great pride in redoing this old home, he really cares Everyone was so nice.

They say location location location is important when choosing where to stay. In New Hope that is the case with Porches on the Tow. We were happily greeted by Bob who graciously helped us with our bags. We stayed in Room 12 and loved it. Well appointed and a great bathroom. The TV In the antique armoire is difficult to...
