I was traveling from NJ to OH and stopped here for the night because it was listed as pet friendly. Warning: there is a pet fee of $35 per pet per night which was not mentioned on its website, and there is a limited number of rooms for pets. I would have preferred more transparency! Nonetheless, the room was clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of space for walking my dog. Three floors, but no elevator.

We stayed for one night while we were going to the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival because of the convenience of the location. It's close to a lot of restaurants which was helpful. Was very pleased with the price point and the cleanliness of the room. I always worry about that in lower price point rooms but it was spotless. Kudos to the housekeeping staff there! There was a small fridge and microwave in the room which came in handy. The rooms are small but perfect for our brief stay. No elevator in the building so be aware of that if you have trouble with stairs. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Stayed at this Super 8 by Wyndham in New Stanton PA on Friday 9/11 for 1 night. Room was clean, adequate, comfortable. Staff were friendly. I would recommend staying here. Beds/ pillows were comfortable. Room was perfectly nice.
The two unfortunate negatives of this hotel were:
1. They advertised a free breakfast and then didn't deliver - regular coffee only. Noted "Covid restrictions". that's fine, but we've been in the pandemic for more than six months and you should take time to have what you advertise match the service you actually deliver.
2. As noted by others, they have large ashtrays flanking at the entrance to the hotel - they stink. Smokers can't smell it I guess. So I had to walk past staff smoking and feel this is completely unprofessional/ avoidable and should be easily fixed - move that crap 15 feet away from the door or to a side entrance so we as guests don't have to suffer from your addictions. VERY unprofessional.

WOW! So clean and the folks here are SO nice. I am so impressed with this Super 8! It really puts some of their name brand competition to shame. We stayed four nights on the first floor which is non-smoking. Since we were staying, the housekeeper was very happy to supply us with towels for our entire stay as the room was spotless and I didn't feel the need for service. She very politely asked everyday if we needed anything.
It's easy to locate, and has a very large parking area. They seem to have a regular schedule of blue collar folks, and even they were very polite, quiet and except for their trucks...unseen a majority of the time.
They had a good selection of TV channels and a great ice machine. The Wifi was strong, and there was a coffee maker in the room as well as down near the desk with all the amenities. The breakfast offered some pastries, fruit & grain bars, popular cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, milk and juice as well as tea. The area was very clean. I'm happy to see they had an area to relax with a sofa and chair and TV in the lounge to get out of the room if you wanted to. I believe they did not utilize a general eating area due to pandemic cautions and that was fine with us. Everyone wore masks here and that was fine by us. We were conveniently within an hour or so of the Flight 93 Memorial, Ohiopyle State Park, Laurel Ridge Park, Friendship Hill National Historic Site and the Alleghany Railroad Historic Site, we saw Fort Necessity and generally loved the fall colors and scenic byways. We left daily by 9am and came back to the hotel at about 3-4pm daily and it was the same quiet oasis of affordable clean every single night. We will be going back!!

The staff at this hotel treats everyone like family. Clean, clean, clean, that's what my wife wants, and gets here. The maid was wiping down the bottom of a door frame with disinfectant when we came back from breakfast one day. It's 30 to 45 minutes from where we go in Pittsburgh and worth the extra distance, plus the PA turnpike and I-70 are right there.

I was very impressed at the quality of the room and hotel. The room seemed to have been recently remodeled, did not smell of smoke or any other odor. AC / heater worked fine. The mini fridge had a separate freezer door, which is unusual and a nice feature. Plenty of room for ice packs to re-freeze. Bath and tub / shower was very nice. The room was very clean, bed comfortable, plenty of pillows, nice sheets. The only extremely minor issue was missing carpet in the hallway, which they are in the midst of replacing. Was not a problem for me. I did get a 10% discount because Wyndham had a fall special going on. It still would have been a good price even without the discount. I slept in so did not get a chance to sample the breakfast offerings. I mentioned how happy I was with the manager, who said they recently got new housekeeping staff that are really on top of things. I would agree.

The staff was friendly and everything was clean. Beds are comfortable and lots of hot water. What more can you ask for. Oh yes breakfast. Ok so there are fewer choices because of covid but there is something offered. Individual wrapped danishes fruit and oatmeal juice and regular coffee. There is in room coffee as well if you want it earlier or only drink decaf so that’s not a problem. The hotel is not new and shows some signs of its age but is taken care of with pride as the staff does care and wants everyone to enjoy their stay. After reading the reviews before I stayed one thing that stood out was a smoke smell in the hallways. This hotel does offer smoking rooms I’m guessing on the top floor and on occasion I did notice a light smoke smell in the hallway but it was minimal.
Overall for the price you can’t ask for much more. I’d definitely stay again.

I checked in in the early afternoon and it was a pleasant experience, however upon stopping at the desk in the evening I was spoken to in the rudest and most offensive manner possible by Kelly the evening desk clerk. When I commented on her manner of speech and attitude towards me, the guest, she told me that she wished her manager were there to fine me $50 for talking to her that way. She was totally disrespectful towards me and her attitude needs adjustment if she continues as a customer service person for this hotel!!!

As a military family, we place a tremendous emphasis on the safety and dependability of the hotel that we visit on a bi-monthly basis. Enough can not be said of the care that Wilma and staff take in ensuring that our stay is consistently comfortable.
We have spend a decent amount of our career traveling as our line of work requires constant movement. In our 18 months of visiting this hotel we have yet to leave 1 review. This goes to show the level of dependability as we simply took this level of care for granted.

Check in was fast, the rate was good. Clean, comfortable public areas, and room. Moderately soft mattress was nice, didn't toss and turn due to a rock hard mattress!
The gym is quite good for a hotel. Nice pool, kids (not mine) were having fun. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet.
Breakfast was typical but had all that I wanted; eggs, sausage, toast, soft butter (hate that rock hard butter) good coffee, and yogurt. Cereals, waffles, apples, bagels and more were there too.
Cracker Barrell across the street too!
