It was my boyfriend's birthday and I wanted to do something special. He works in Manhattan, rushing and stressed all day. We r both from a big city. (New York). It was a great change of pace that we both needed. Away from the noise, cars, people. Very laid back atmosphere. Our room (the Safari room) overlooked the property lake,...

Just returned home from our trip to Pennsylvania. I missed it from the moment we drove away. The Dockside was a beautiful place. From the grounds to the accomodations, it was perfect. There was snow on the ground and Christmas lights on the trees. I could not have asked for a more romantic place to stay. We stayed in the...

My husband and I stayed at the Dockside Bed and Breakfast in New Tripoli and it was so neat! They have theme rooms and we stayed in the Asian Room which was decorated with Eastern design and black/red/gold colors. It was simply beautiful. One of the great things about this place is that it has a private entrance to the...

What an incredible stay! We stayed in the Elk Suite at the Dockside Beb and Breakfast and loved the atmosphere. It was so peaceful and the view from every window in the suite was magnificant, especially in the morning when we woke up and it was snowing over that beautiful landscape! I cannot wait to go back and enjoy the...

If you're looking for a relaxing weekend getaway where you can enjoy nature and just being with a loved one, Dockside Bed & Breakfast is just the place. We stayed in the Elk Suite and took advantage of a jaccuzzi in a beautiful bathroom and a king size bed. We had gorgeous views of the Pennsylvania landscape. Although there is...

We probably just stayed in the wrong room, the "Garden Room." I booked for 2 days, but we left after one night. The turn offs were that the male owner's clothes were in the closet, although he moved them over to make room for us, and the other is that the bed linen smelled of perspiration, or just mustiness. Otherwise...

If you want to relax and rewind, I would highly recommend the Dockside. We stayed in the Elk Suite and it was very, very nice. The suite was well-furnished, extremely clean, and we appreciated the refreshments and the fresh flowers. The views of the two lakes and the use of the paddleboat was very relaxing. Dockside is also conveinently located...

A beautiful setting around a charming lake. The B&B is new, the room was large and nicely decorated. When we called to make a reservation we were told to call back later. The lack of soundproofing was a negative to what could have been a romantic room. We could hear the conversation from an adjacent room. An infestation of ants...

“The Elk Room or the Island Room are very nice. We did not see the other rooms.”

“I recommend choosing one of the rooms not attached to the house for more privacy and asking ahead of time about timing of ongoing work.”

“The Elk Room is the only room with a fridge, sink, and microwave. Since everything is far away, we suggest making meals and then heating them up each day and night instead of going out to eat. The fridge, microwave, and sink allows travelers to do this.”
