My wife and I went on vacation to visit family in PA and were looking for a hotel. We found this wonderful bed and breakfast was more affordable than any of the hotels. Ted and Norma make you feel like part of the family. We arrived late and they stayed up for us to make certain we got situated. Breakfast...

Exactly like coming home after an extended period away! Ted and Norma were amazing hosts and make you feel like part of their family. Not only that, but the house was spotless and the bed was very comfortable as well. Norma made sure that I determined what time and what the menu was for breakfast Sunday morning, too! Highly recommended...

This is a homey B&B with only two guest rooms with a nice view of the town below. The hosts are very friendly and will even share wine with you. They make a very full breakfast cooked to order (from farm-fresh eggs!) and give you a choice of whatever you want. Guests have the run of the house including both...

I selected Contented Acres based on location and price and what a find! Set on a working farm, the house was lovely and homey. Ted and Norma make you feel right at home. It is a working farm with ducks, cats, chickens, including a very restrained rooster, and acres of grapevines. The breezes off Lake Erie keep it comfortable day...

The room was very nice and the hosts very friendly! (family run) The price was reasonable. The breakfast was extraordinary (family atmosphere). We did hear the train, but it was not disturbing for us. We had a good sleep.

My husband and I try to make it up to Erie a couple times a year for a weekend getaway to enjoy the wineries, food, views and Lake Erie. We also prefer bed & breakfasts for our stay. What an absolute gem Contented Acres turned out to be! The price for the beauty, comfort, food, hospitality and tranquility of the...

Nice home location in the vineyards. Excellent in every way - people, property, room, and breakfast. Scenic pond with ducks. Out of the noise of the highway and town. Close to numerous wineries and the lake.

We stayed at Contented Acres over the Wine Festival weekend for a much needed couples mini-cation. Not only is the price a steal, but Ted & Norma went above and beyond in opening up their home to us and offering advice on restaurant choices and things to see and do. We would definitely recommend to anyone needing a place to...

Our first time visiting and it won't be our last! Beds/baths are clean & cozy, the food is delicious (you name it, they'll make it for you!) and the farm charming. Pond to fish in, farm and creek to explore, ducks and hens walking around with their chicks, Lake Erie and wineries all close by and Cali and Lady (their...

We stayed at "Contented Acres" for 2 nights as strangers, but left feeling like friends or family with the owners, Norma and Ted Esterline; they are THE perfect couple to host such a bed and breakfast! Their welcoming smiles invite you inside their beautiful country home and they have an astounding innate ability to quickly draw you into their cozy...
