The owner said "my philosophy is my hotel is old and will never be a Holiday Inn. So, i offer a clean room at a reasonable cost." The room was worn, but the bed was comfortable, with clean linens. This very TIRED Inn was a big mistake in choice. The rooms were VERY OLD, and needed Upgrade desperately. The Lobby has a dead tree with dusty butterflies in the branches, the room carpets are awful, and DO NOT walk barefoot on them! Bathroom is working that's about it. Usually I consider dated motel rooms to be a First World problem and I have no qualms staying in such places as long as there are clean sheets and towels, a comfortable bed and a hot shower. Oh my...what can I say. This is one of those experiences that you can only laugh about and online review as soon as possible, because no one will believe you stayed. We are staying here for the night due to white out conditions on the interstate. We were able to pull right off of the highway and find this inexpensive blast from the past. This place isn't going to win a beauty contest or be on the cover of Travel & Liesure, but after refusing to pay the ridiculous three figure prices for other hotels for a one night stay on a Saturday, I found the Red Carpet in North East to be ok. Cost 86 to stay here, should have just paid an additional 40 for a different place! I think they are in middle of remodel , Where do I start? Bugs on floor they are June bugs, the door doesn't seal to outside. Couch has rips in it. Bed has shag carpet base(see photos). Mattress made me roll into my hubby... More

Staff was very helpful. Building is old but room was clean. If low price heavily determines your choice, this is a winner. Wireless worked well. Breakfast (included in the price of the room) was adequate.

Bad service, very small. I just don't like it! If u want continental breakfast, you'll eat stale cereal, hot milk, hot orange juice, stale doughnuts, and moldy butter and cream cheese. The mini golf course is not well kept, and the pool makes you itchy.

Very bad.. won't stay there again. The lobby was Old.. outdated, and the people were difficult to understand, they were of India heritage. The room was clean enough, but you could see the pealing wall paper in the corners, and the OLD wall heater in the bathroom.
