My husband and I were married at the Joseph Ambler Inn, so every year we come back on our anniversary to celebrate. Unfortunately a very unpleasant server took away form our experience tonight. She barely greeted us and was thoroughly unfriendly. When she brought over the dessert menus, she LITERALLY threw them down in from of us and walked away....

We held our rehearsal dinner and wedding at the JAI and it couldn't have gone better. The staff was extremely helpful and catered to all of our needs. Even though it rained on our wedding day, the venue was very accommodating and everyone had a great time. The food was great, the rooms were comfortable and the setting was perfect....

First and foremost DO NOT stay in room 204! Our room was situated directly across from the air conditioning units and the exhaust for the restaurant in the main building - when you opened our windows that was the view on the second floor. Our room was #204. There are a couple of rooms on that side that you DO...

Stayed here for 3 days for business travel. Restaurant is very good though fairly spendy (you can get the same quality of food at the bar for less $$). I had a large updated room but the individual rooms couldn't be temp-controlled so I slept with the windows open! Huge jetted tub, double shower, all updated though bathrooms with pedestal...

What a find! I recommend this hotel if you are in the area. It reminds you of an English country Inn, with ye-olde houses offering various bed rooms, sitting rooms, and a great bar and restaurant. It oozes country charm; but in now way is run down - it's buildings are full of character and history, without feeling worn. Really...

Can't say enough about this experience. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, the experience was outstanding. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly and welcoming. Kudos to your entire staff...outstanding customer service! The grounds are beautiful ...so well maintained. Your "Kiiller Kitties" obviously do a good job! Sitting around the firepit enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail...

Very lovely venue. We had a small wedding reception here and enjoyed every minute. Excellent food and pristine surroundings. We love re-visiting for dinner every few weeks. What a romantic, charming place for us to enjoy time and time again.

I was looking forward to my stay at the Joseph Ambler Inn but ultimately was disappointed. The historical buildings were lovingly restored and the site is most beautiful. My room was on the top floor of the barn". The room was okay, a bit dark and dingy even with all the lights on. Wi-fi worked well and the bathroom shower...

Hadn't been here for years but decided to try something different so we visited on a Sunday a few weeks ago. The place was virtually empty--maybe 2-3 other tables. Restaurant in located within the Inn which must date back to the 1700's. Menu was not very large but our meals were excellent. We had the veal chop special, swordfish and...

We stayed in a King Suite in the Thomas Wilson building. When we arrived, we sat out on our quiet, private patio and enjoyed watching 2 hawks being chased by a crow. The bathroom was big with a large jet tub and shower. The soaps and lotion had a pleasant citrus smell. The bed had a comfortable foam type mattress...
