Just came home from Splash Magic campground and it was a very nice family oriented clean campground. I read the reviews and I was a little apprehensive about going but chose to try it anyways. The owner was very nice to us and everyone in the camp store. So, I do not understand why people were complaining about their treatment...

Just returned from this campground and will not be going back. My family has been camping for 15 years and has a lot of experience. This was the first time we rented a cabin on the lake. If you are considering this beware of log # 4. The family that was there had a problem with bed bugs and had...

Our group of about 8 families has been camping for years. We have been to many different campgrounds in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New York. I have NEVER had a worse experience. Yes, I know it's not a spa but... The staff and especially the owner are rude and condescending. The facilities are not very clean and not check often...

This was an unfortunate isolated incident. We ask everyone to be on their own site by 11PM and for parents to make sure they keep their children under control. During this particular week, we experienced outrageous behavior by teen agers who felt the need to vandalize every bathroom on the property after the 11:00PM quiet hour. The children were suppose...

Our stay each year (4 yrs. in a row) begins with entering the camp store & checking in with the VERY friendly young lady at the desk! We get to our site, hook up and enjoy a week of fun and relaxation! We meet with family members (1 family at a tent site & another family in a cabin). All...

I was overall very pleased with our stay. I was nervous based on the reviews. Pros: lots of things for the kids, a little something for Adults, and even pet friendly. The restrooms and showers were full plumbing and close to our site. Cons: Lots of traffic, golf carts, and bicycles. They are not very accommodating and have a very...

I am not sure what people expect... I have been going there for a few years in a row. I have 2 small boys WHO LOVE IT THERE. Splash Magic has a lot to offer small children. My boys love the "dragon wagon". Which is a wagon pulled by a tractor, and everyone sings. The bumper boats are a lot...

My husband and I stayed in Log cabin #3 with one infant and 2 kids under 5 years old. I had a knot in my stomach after reading the reviews but we were paid up and travelling with another family. So, here are my highs and lows.. Positive: Great pool, slides are fun, plenty of activities. Cabin was neat and...

The management there only cares about getting your money. We were very dissatisfied with our site and when I told the manager she said "oh well, most people like that site". She did not care at all that we were dissatisfied. We were not offered a different site or even a partial refund. I have been camping for 15 years...

This was our worst camping trip EVER!!! Staff is very rude and will stop at nothing to make money. Do not waste your time or your money. Alot of the things on their website do not take place and you will be told " because of the flood"..the flood was a year ago......Make sure you bring enough to eat.....snack bar...

Just got back from Splash Magic today. Went with 5 other families and rented a cabin. Said it had tv in unit which it did not. Air condtioning in one unit was broken. Owner told us too bad, take your money back and leave!! If we hadn't planned this a year ago with 5 other families we most certainly would...

The AC in the cabins is new central air. When customers open windows and leave the door open to unload their cars, it is reasonable to assume that your cabin is going to get hot again. During this particular stay, the heat index was almost 100 degrees. We explained that the cabin would cool down when the doors and windows...
