I can't even give this place one star. It was disgusting. Dirty floors were not vacuumed, there was a cigarette butt in the sink drain, which also had no plug. The mirror was even dirty. It smelled awful. the sheets had what looked like blood stains on them. The staff was rude and didn't even offer an apology, much less a room change, or any concern. The room smelled bad. I refused to stay a second night I had planned to. I would rather sleep in a car with my kids than spend a night in this dump. It was a disgrace. No one should ever stay here.

Got there late after a full day at Hershey Park. My husband thought for sure we were sleeping on box springs because the beds are hard as rock. We booked 2 rooms 5 people. Each room has towels for 2 and were told that its $9 for additional towels!! Non smoking rooms but there were cigarette butts outside the door of the rooms. Needs updating and wasn't somewhere I would want to stay again. No blanket just a sheet and a shiny cover on the beds. Lady at the front was very friendly when we were checking out.

These people are amazing!! I cancelled because of my fathers death, they didn't refund but charged me multiple days stay. They ignored me, so I drove 2 hours, as they stated no charge, showed them my account with multiple charges. Indian woman said "I see nothing"
The authorities are handling them now.

We stayed the last week of June. Having no recent reviews until the last few weeks I decided to carefully document the experience to help people planning a trip to Hershey.

When we checked in the woman at the front desk informed me (as an earlier review stated) that there would be an additional $20 charge "for the children" I informed her my booking was for 4 people and she objected and said she would take it up with the booking company. I did not pay the extra charge.

We were given the keys to room 118. It was right next to the pool, but the gate was on the opposite side so it would still require a walk all the way around the fence. All the rooms had a non smoking sign, but every inch of this one reeked of smoke to the point my wife declared we were not staying there. There were cigarette butts littered all around the door. I assured her it would be OK and we would ask for another room.

We told the woman at the desk the room was not adequate and she very readily handed us the keys to room 110. It was on the second floor above where you check in. It was also one of those fancy 3 bed numbers (which was a huge blessing since our two children were not fond of sharing a bed) The room did not smell of smoke. There were some strange things: two of the four bedside lampshades still had plastic wrap around them. The refrigerator in the room had been cut out of the box but the bottom was still beneath it, the sinks were outside of the bathroom (this could be a common motel thing?) The towels were very thin, but they were happy to provide more whenever asked. The pillows were gross, but I packed my own just in case. The tub seemed to be peeling away from the bathroom walls. We did not walk barefoot as the carpet looked dingy from age. The headboards were super glued to the walls or something.

There was a fairly new television with more channels than we get at home. The kids would immediately turn it to the Disney channel. The microwave was very tiny, but the fridge was bigger than expected. The wifi worked, but we were very close to the lobby. I'm not sure it would work in a further away room.

Breakfast varied. One day they would have peanut butter crackers, bananas, some generic cereal. The next day the crackers would be replaced with sprinkled sugar cookies for some reason. Always there was milk, and a glass decanter with Sunny Delight that person at the desk would call orange juice. No one working there was ever rude to anyone in the family.

One thing about the pool: the rules said "...no toys, including goggles." My daughter is on swim team and feels the need to always wear them while in the pool. Goggles are not toys.

Checkout involved me handing the key to a person who was cleaning and waving goodbye.

Is this the nicest place I've ever stayed? Far from it. Was the non smokey room adequate? Yes. $79 per night and snacks (breakfast) for four sure helped us stay on budget this trip.

woman at the front desk was so nasty she refused to give me and my friend a double bed even though it was available. First, she said it was available and charged me 30 dollars extra. Then a friend staying at another hotel walked in while we were checking trying to find a garbage can and the woman went crazy. She accused me of lying and was arguing with me. I went to show her my friends confirmation letter for a different hotel and she refused, got even crazier, and just yelled "forget it. I don't want your trouble your only getting 1 bed!!!" This place needs to go out of business. They don't know how to treat their customers. Also my NON SMOKING ROOM had an utterly repulsive smell of a cigarette butts and mildew. I sprayed febreeze all over the room !Not worth the 111 that I had to pay per night. At most this piece of crap motel is worth maybe 60 a night.

When I travel, I don't look for frills. I want a good night stay in a good room. I was very surprised at what I found at the Dutch Motel. It is an older hotel like many. However, the bed was fairly new and very comfortable - slept like a baby. I was impressed that the bathroom had been completely updated - new tub, new toilet, new flooring - fresh and clean. The carpet was fairly new as well. Furniture was older but in good condition. The A/C worked great! In short, I had a great 2 night stay at a very reasonable price. I will stay here again.

We called late at night for a 5am check in, the lady accepted the price I found online. When I asked the check out time I believe she extended it a little since we came in so late. The room was clean as a whistle, the bathroom was spotless. The only suggestion we had for the place is for them to get a dresser drawer to put clothes and stuff on for long stays.

I booked a room at this hotel through Expedia. When I arrived I checked in with a woman who barely spoke any English and charged me twice for my room. I was told I had to wait ten minutes until the manager came so they could refund me. When I went to the room the toilet wouldn't fill up with water. Fine - I'll ask for another room when the manager comes. An HOUR later the manager arrives and refunds my purchase. I ask for another room and she yells at me, telling me the toilet is fine, the water was turned off. She was going to follow me up to the room to turn on the water but decided she was too tired and gave me a different room. After I went in, the phone rang and it was the manager saying that I had paid for two people but I needed to pay for three. I was staying with my boyfriend and we had come to visit my sister at Lebanon Valley College. I told the manager there were only two of us - my sister was staying in her dorm. She accused me of lying and berated me further. I finally hung up, on the verge of tears. I have never been so humiliated or uncomfortable when I had done NOTHING wrong.

Please do not visit this motel. It will definitely put a damper on your visit.

this motel was by far the most disgusting place i have ever had to sleep in my entire life. the room had a suspicious door that obviously could not be properly locked so a useless mini fridge and microwave had to be used. the towels had numerous holes and the toilet was not properly working. the toilet paper was more like cardboard and the shower was exremely difficult to turn on. also, the people in the other rooms were very creepy and were constantly talking about smoking bongs and/or talking to themselves. my friends and i did NOT feel safe, so much so that two of us had to stay up all night because we felt that unsafe, with a chair under the door. the window could easily be pushed in from the outside. the air conditioning was extremely faulty. the amount of flies and bugs that were in our room is digusting. not to mention the service. the neighborhood was very sketchy and i was scared for my life. the quality of this hotel is awful and this whole building should soon be shut down. the owner was extremely rude and took advantage of our young age to try and manipulate us into paying more money. she was screaming im our faces and said we were lying to her about the amount of people staying in the room when EVERYTHING she was claiming is a lie. in order to try and get more money out a TERRIBLE motel, she was intent on charging more money on our credit card. after reading these reviews, we will be checking our credit card because we are very suspicious that they will charge us more than what was said to us. PLEASE STAY AWAY AND I RECOMMEND EXTREME CAUTION.
P.S. this owner does NOT speak english and either truly does not understand what people are saying or did and was pretending that she didnt. DONT EVER STAY HERE.

I would think not. If that were the case no matter what hotel it is, I would find another hotel to stay at. A hotel that participates in online booking is obligated to honor the price it publishes.
