I booked this room on the way to DC due to all the positive ratings. While the motel keeper was extremely helpful, trying to be extra accommodating, this attentive service just couldn't make up for a double bed that was so hard that I couldn't help wondering whether the floor wouldn't have been about the same. The highway noise was quite loud as we were seemingly less than 10' away. That and the fridge in our room didn't work.

It was very clean, smelled good, and had soap and shampoo. But the shampoo had a seal on it - which had been opened.

Very reasonably priced, I would choose to pay more than barely sleep.

I didn't expect to find this place as nice as it was. The room was clean and roomy. Several of our group stayed in rooms which were small, but I was in one of the suites which was very nice. The check-in process was seamless which is always a great thing while on a cycling trip.

Stayed here for an extended period of time on business and much to my delight, the "deluxe" room was well worth it. The woman who owns this place is friendly and seems to care whether you are enjoying your stay. Would stay here again if needed. There is a busy highway right outside, but my room was quiet and I had no problems sleeping.

I was in the area on business, and stayed an extra night to meet up with an old friend. I was too cheap to stay in a chain place, so I got a room here. I woke up at 5 AM and felt something on me - it was a bedbug! I showered and got out ASAP. I mentioned it to the lady at the front desk on the way out, and her response was to insist that they had changed all the mattresses only a year ago.

Aside from this issue, the place is overpriced for the area - the clean chain hotels in Belle Vernon aren't that much more money. They do offer smoking rooms which are cheaper, but the one I looked at smelled like an ashtray. The rate would have been fair for a clean place, but this one is more like a "no-tell" motel.

The do have a new building with jacuzzi rooms, which I did not stay in - it's possible some of the rooms here are nicer than the one I based this review on.

We were looking for a place to spend the night while biking on the GAP bike trail. We rode 35 miles from Ohiopyle, PA to Perryopolis and spent the night. The room was just what we wanted; a quiet place to spend the night after a days ride and not spend a lot of money. The price was perfect, the reservations were very easy to make and Patel, the owner, was so very helpful, understanding, and flexible with us. She was a real joy. We got one of the back rooms, which was a bit of a struggle to get our bikes back there, but well worth it as it was so private, the view beautiful and so quiet. The room was small, we had to keep our bikes outside on the covered porch, but had everything we needed and was very clean. There are larger rooms and rooms with Jacuzzis, but for more money this was what we wanted. However, after a long days ride the idea of a nice hot Jacuzzi sounded appealing. We stayed with our original reservation. The BB Family Diner is within walking distance and was a wonderful, quaint, quiet, family restaurant where we ate dinner and breakfast in the morning. If we are ever in this area we would definitely stay here again. There is quite a hill to climb from the GAP trail to get to Perryopolis, but it was a nice diversion and a different kind of a trip for us and something different to experience. A nice treat.

The service and room for the price is unbittable. The girl at the desk was very helpful and friendly. I've asked for the cheapest room and yet to my delight, it wasn't so large but wasn't too small either, it was a queen size bedroom with mini fridge, microwave and even coffeemachine. They have WIFI as well. I thoght it would be noisy being so close to the road but once I closed my room door, it wasn't bad at all. Bed was quite comfortable. Lines were clean and crisp, room was very clean, large clean bathroom. Overall I think it was great. I would definietly refer it and be going back again.

The motel is cozy and clean and a great place to stay while on a trip. The part that got me though was the customer service. The people there don't hesitate to help you out however they can and are honestly great.

Owner called and said the room we reserved had some problems but she would give us an upgrade for the same price. Very nice and helpful. Getting to here from GAP is an uphill challenge, to say the least. OK restaurant across the street, which is the only place close by to eat if you have no car. Room was dated and needed a little care.
