I had the pleasure of staying two nights in The Priory Hotel, Pittsburgh, Pa. Charming, very friendly staff, ample continental breakfast, and most of all, clean. Nestled across the river from Pittsburgh with easy access to the city, sport stadiums and major expressways. I particularly enjoyed a civilized martini from their adorable lobby bar in front of a wood fire. Great...

My husband and I decided to get out of town for my birthday/New Years, and decided to stay at the Priory with the added cruise package. We had a wonderful time. There was some confusion about the room being paid in advance and when to catch the shuttle to the boat for the cruise, but otherwise, things worked out smoothly....

This was such a wonderful change then the hotels in the city of Pittsburgh! The accommodations were wonderful, and the staff was incredible. Dina, was dynamite she made everyone feel like family. She made sure everyone's needs were met, and always put the guest first. Henry, the shuttle driver was just as incredible. Being their on New Year's Eve, he...

We have stayed at the Priory before. My only complaint had been lack of an elevator. Now that they have an elevator installed, that is no longer an issue! It is quaint and lovely, but with all modern amenities. We love staying there when we go up for Steeler games and will be staying in the future for Pirate games....

Nice hotel in an accessible area of Pittsburgh. The staff is by far one of the friendliest we have encountered. Rooms are a decent size considering the history of the hotel. The only negative is the shower we had in our room. I am a small-med size woman and I found the shower to be really small.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Priory for a short getaway. We could not have been happier. It is quaint, yet beautiful. The building is a 19th century monastery with modern amenities. The staff was very welcoming. Our room was well taken care of and immaculately clean. Monk's Bar was small and inviting. Our breakfast the next morning...

I have stayed at the Priory for 3 nights at the end of November 2013. It is clean, the interiors are very nice and interesting, and the staff very helpful. There was a problem with the heating system in the room that I got initially, and the receptionist gave me on the spot a different room - an obvious upgrade...

This is a beautiful place to stay in close proximity to the city but there is no view of the city because of a huge building between it and the river. The room could not have been nicer or more comfortable. The biggest disappointment was a lack of a hot breakfast. The only things offered were pastries, cereal and hard...

My husband and I were thoroughly delighted with our recent stay at the Priory during the first weekend in December. If you're satisfied with the ordinary, stay at a common chain hotel. Should you yearn for accommodations with a splash of individuality, you owe it to yourself to seek out this 19th century re-purposed monastery. Our immaculate first floor room...

We selected The Priory on the recommendation of Trip Advisor. As we were in Pittsburgh to see a football game at Heinz Field, the nearby Priory seemed like a great option. We couldn't have been more happy with our experience. The small bar area and warm fireplace in the front room made this a welcome alternative to the cookie cutter...
