Most reviews are correct. This is is a nice hotel. I travel to Pittsburgh often so I have been to many downtown and north shore hotels. I think you can get more at others for the price of this one. Staff are very pleasant. I did come during a Steelers game so the price may have been escalated.

Our last stay was not so good, so we have not been back in a number of years. However, this stay was much better, more of what we expect from Courtyard. Got an upgrade to a very nice suite and the new breakfast area is a nice way to start the day. Key is the front desk and valet personnel...

It's wonderful to hear that you enjoyed our staff and that we were able to upgrade you to a suite. Our team works very hard to make every guest feel at home while traveling. We look forward to your next visit!

All the reviews about the Courtyard Pittsburgh Downtown are correct, the hotel is very nice, rooms are clean, bed comfortable, in walking distance to almost everything. The only complaint we had was the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke in our room and after mentioning it to the front desk, we were told the hotel is non-smoking but they would look...

If you want to be in the centre of everything, this is a good choice. You can walk and visit museums, shops and theatres. You have a lot of restaurants in this area too. Rooms are good, clean and I enjoyed during my visit.

We stayed for a Pirates game. PNC Park is an easy walk. Our room was really nice. They were a bit backed up at check-in, but it wasn't horrible. As far as we could tell, you're on your own for parking, but there's a reasonably priced garage at the end of the block (9th and Penn). Nice, funky neighborhood.

Dear ace4444, Thank you for your review! Many of our guests stay with us to attend Pirates games for just the reason you described. We're very fortunate to be located within a short walking distance of the ball park. I'm sorry about your check in experience, but hopefully we have an opportunity to better serve you during your next trip...

This hotel is a well maintained older facility centrally located near the Convention Center and close to Union Station. Their shuttle service is available and the staff very accommodative. For some unexplained reason Fox News, though listed on the hotel tv menu, was not available. A suspicious mind might find that corporate censorship, though it could simply be a technical...

Dear J B, We are so glad you enjoyed our facility and our staff treated you well throughout your stay. I appreciate the information about Fox News - that is a technical error which we will investigate. Thank you for your review, and I hope we have the opportunity to serve you again whenever your travels bring you back to...

We stayed here one night while visiting a local university. It was a Saturday night and when we arrived, the street was full of people with wonderful music playing. It's definitely a great spot if you want to walk to restaurants and enjoy the night life. Our room was big with high ceilings and was well decorated. Beautiful actually. The...

Dear Flight001, Thank you for writing about your experience at our hotel! I'm so glad you were able to enjoy our location and the downtown nightlife; the cultural district is a vibrant area! However I am terribly sorry to hear about the street noise you experienced during your stay. That is an unfortunate side effect of our downtown location, but...

Stayed here two nights while we enjoyed baseball at PNC Park. The walk is 15-20 mins and utilizes the Roberto Clemente Bridge. The location is perfect. Close to lots of restaurants and shops. The pickup location for the Pittsburgh Tour (hop on/hop off) is a block away. Our room was spacious but the view was atrocious. Surrounding the courtyard so...

I'm currently staying here while attending a conference and was placed in a street-facing room. The hotel is directly across the street from a bar/restaurant that is a tad bit noisy. To be fair, the volume is by no means egregious--it basically just sounds like the inside of a loud cafeteria--lots of talking, laughing, and yelling, no music, but if...

The hotel was centrally located around the corner from he convention center. The room was large and beds comfortable; bathroom large too. The hallways and public areas could use a refurbishment but otherwise I thought it a great choice. The front desk, valet and bell hop were quick, efficient and welcomed us as we left and returned the front lobby.
