A truly magical weekend occurred this past weekend - in Pittsburgh, Pa of all places! After four years of dropping my daughter off at Duquesne University and passing the Inn on Negley on my way home, I booked a weekend stay at the Inn to celebrate her graduation. The weekend was also a celebration for Mother's Day and I can...

This was our second stay at the Inn on Negley. What a wonderful Inn! We were so comfortable in our room, especially after a long road trip. It was easy to doze off in the fabulous bed...we turned in early. The bath is very nice with wonderful soaps and towels. Breakfast was delicious thanks to a very talented chef. And...

Thank you so much for enjoying yourself and recommending the Inn! Constructive criticism is good, and helps us to learn where we can be better - but a little pat on the back never hurt! Our staff and chefs will be so pleased to hear your thoughts. Come back to us next time you're in Pittsburgh and thanks again for...

My wife and I were looking forward to returning to the Inn on Negley when we were recently visiting family attending Carnegie Mellon. (We had last stayed at this property a few years ago.) Our recent 3-day visit exceeded our very high expectations. Everything about the Inn is just as wonderful as we remembered: great location, quaint common rooms, charming...

Thank you so much - We're always happy to host prospective students and their families! It's always bittersweet when we meet a family while the kids are shopping around, host parents for events and presentations over the years, and then see them on graduation weekend - sad to see them go, but we're always honored to be a special part...

This gem is within walking distance to Shops and Restaurants in Shady Side. Also close to many historic and tourist sites on the east side of town. Accommodations were quaint in the Granny Smith room, though the bathroom was small for two. The gas fireplace sits on the side of the bed, and only 3 feet away, so it didn't...

I was traveling through Pittsburgh with my two teenage sons on college visits and I was excited to introduce them to their first B&B. They were skeptical. . .until we got to the inn and they couldn't believe how nice it was! Great location, with parking in back. The inn itself is beautifully decorated inside. We had the Empire Suite...

Enjoyed high tea on Friday, March 10. My wife and I will do it again in the near future. Toured the Inn and the professional period decorating is done very nicely. Would be a great place to stay overnight, also. Close to Walnut Street in Shadyside.
