My mother, my daughter, and myself stayed two nights while attending an open house at the University of Pittsburgh for my daughter. We could not have been greeted by a friendlier, more helpful staff!! The rooms were latge, clean, and very nice! There is a Panera bread on the lower floor which was wonderful! The hotel was within walking distance...

We had a great experience. We arrived early and went in to see if we could at least park our car while we looked around Pittsburgh. They were able to check us into our room three hours early and gave us a shuttle ride to and from the museum. The staff was really nice. Having a Panera in the building...

Thanks for staying with us. It's great to hear you enjoyed your trip to town. We're happy to provide a local shuttle service to many local attractions. It is definitely easier than trying to navigate in an unfamiliar area! I apologize for the bathroom tile. I will have our maintenance team inspect all rooms for tile issues so they aren't...

The hotel looks a little old from the outside but it was clean on the inside. Our room was a nice sized room and cleaner than some higher end hotels I've stayed in. It is a fairly close walk to campus and would be a perfect walk if the weather isn't too cold. The staff was very friendly and accommodating....

Thank you for being our guest. I'm happy you found your room to be clean and spacious. We're currently entertaining bids to repaint the entire exterior of the building. Hopefully, we can start this project soon so we have a new, fresh look! Sincerely, Ben Greiner Assistant General Manager

When we checked in I asked for a handicap accessible room. I was told that this hotel didn't have any. Not that they were already booked, but that they simply didn't exist. As you can see, we were assigned a room without a grab bar for the toilet. This meant that when my elderly mother, who walks with a cane,...

The room was large and clean with a balcony. The staff was friendly, and while there was not breakfast, there was a Panera bread on the first level. Parking and wifi were free. Would definitely stay here again!

The Quality Inn University Center is ideally located, within walking distance of Pittsburgh University and an amazing number of great restaurants. The walking meant that I was actually able to lose weight despite eating well! The hotel staff were polite and prompt to provide assistance when I was having trouble with my keycard. Recommend this hotel for those visiting Pitt.

We checked in on a very busy day in Pittsburgh, the parade for the Penguins was going on in town, but the desk personnel were very good and checked us in early so that we could do what we wanted. The one queen room on the 5th floor was nice and even had enough room for an extra bed for...

Friendly & helpful staff; clean room; very comfortable bed; fridge & microwave; fitness center (which I used) and free parking!. Having Panera Bread downstairs was convenient (and they open early). Close to CMU, and other points of interest. The shuttle driver even offered to drive me to campus for the graduation and pick me up afterwards but, I declined. Thought...

Thank you for the great review. I am glad you were able to use many of our amenities to your advantage. My favorite hotel feature is the local shuttle. Located near Pitt, CMU, hospitals and Carnegie Museum. Not fancy, but decent value. Excellent Panera. Good, but busy shuttle. One beef: prices listed at booking.com and priceline are significantly above (by $20) what's listed on hotel's web site $99). Get down to $92 if you are visiting Pitt.
