We needed a place to sleep while in town visiting friends. With three places to choose from, I choose Port Motel based on reviews I had read. The owner was very friendly on the phone. He gave me a great rate for two nights. When we arrived, the owner checked us in,walked us to our room, and opened the door...

So I just called to book a room for two nights in July. I tried to book a room early because of an event that is going on in town that weekend. I was told that "I cannot guarantee you a room, call back the first week in July". REALLY???????? NOT!!!!!!!!!!

I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay. I thought that I'd try this place. The two things that I look for are cleanliness and quietness. This had neither. While the main room wasn't too bad, the bathroom could use some tidying. And the paper thin walls meant that the neighbor's TV kept me awake all night. We left...

This is an older motel owned by a nice older couple. They are very friendly and helpful, will try to accommodate you in any way possible, and offer very low rates. The rooms are dated yes, but they are clean and everything is in working order. The WiFi is a little slow but I don't think it's better elsewhere in...

Clean room, with a small microwave, refrigerator, etc. Your typical "mom & pop" hotel. The owner/on-site manager made himself available to us at 1;00 a.m. as we were very late arriving. The room we stayed had a king bed with a brand new mattress and was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband stayed and is still staying at the port hotel. It is located at an easy access location on hwy 6 which runs east and west across PA. The rooms are very clean and offer a fridge and small microwave. It is within walking distance to town and close to a Dollar General and fast food restaurant. A washer...

Stayed there 1-22-2014. It was clean, warm (below zero outside), friendly owner. Would stay there again if I am working in area again. And best of all Did not cost much for a night $50. The owner steered me best place to eat, when I go into town also. Good choice.

We stayed here while in town for a family reunion. It was clean, simple and exactly what we needed. The owner is very nice and it was a pleasant stay. It is basic nothing fancy, think hunting cabin, but clean. There is a sub shop and convenience store, a place to grab a six pack, and it felt like a...

We again stayed here for the family reunion, and found everything to be the same as last time. With a big clean comfortable king size bed, a microwave a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and this time there was a larger upgraded flat panel tv . Everything was clean and comfortable. The owners are very kind and nice to chat with.
