I picked this B&B out of three options in Reading because their Rose Room faces the park. My wife and I were celebrating our 29th Anniversary and pink is her favorite color making the Rose Room perfect for us. The house is across from Penn Common, a park donated to Reading by the family of William Penn. Throughout the park... More

We traveled to Reading as a big group--and stayed at the Bed and Breakfast on the Park. This Bed and Breakfast is truly one of the nicest establishments we have ever stayed at anywhere--a gorgeous Victorian residence, beautiful, clean, and well-appointed--and genuinely welcoming, too. The breakfast was outrageously good--(pecan maple French toast, morning glory muffins, apple coffee cake--all homemade from... More

Owners George and Cindy are wonderful, accommodating, and informative! Cindy provided a tour of this beautiful 19th century renovated Victorian home that has an amazing amount of history to it which the owners researched well. We learned about the livingroom, which originally was designed as a room just for the men in the home and their male guests. The entrance... More

My business colleagues and I planned to be in Reading for one night. Not wanting to stay in the usual corporate-chain hotel, we looked into local options for inns or B&Bs. We came across this gem online; I called the establishment directly and had a very pleasant conversation with George, the innkeeper. Since the inn had only four rooms, we... More
