We just returned from the Red Lion. I was interested to see how the new owners have changed the pub as I knew it 30 years ago when it was an 'interesting' venue. The transformation is amazing. Beautifully designed with lovely paintings and furniture. The...More
We attended a wedding nearby and luckily found this place. George and Dani were both very helpful on mapping our itinerary and making suggestions. Both were outgoing and professional. Breakfast was served on fine china and the food homemade by Dani as she is also...More
Inn was charming and well kept. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were lovely and comfortable. Innkeepers were warm and welcoming and had snacks and water waiting in the room. Breakfast was delicious.
My partner and I ate here and were impressed by the food. I recommend the duck leg and ox cheek! Even better was the service - the waiters were polite and attentive without being overbearing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for special occasions or...More

We stayed in the main house. All the rooms were upstairs and air conditioned. There was no elevator. There were appeared to be some other rooms in a separate building next to the parking lot which were at ground level. I don't know anything about those, but I assume you would still need to climb steps to get breakfast. I would call the Red Lion, as they are very accommodating. There is no pool. It is a charming old home turned into a bed and breakfast.
