It was a below average Hampton experience. I was able to get a room at the last minute, but I feel $248 was steep. Breakfast was good. Coffee maker worked. If you are going to gve us enough coffee to make four cups, give us four sugar/creamer set-ups!
The location is not ideal but the hotel is clean and well kept. The staff was very nice and our room was very comfortable for the Zoom meeting we needed to do while there. Missed breakfast because it ended at 9 and we thought we had until 10. We would stay again if we were in the area.
My Husband and I stayed here for a Christmas/anniversary trip. We were first greeted by Michelle whom was very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early which was great as we had been traveling overnight. It’s also pet friendly which is a plus. The parking lot was a little slippery but they were salting it when we first arrived. We stayed in a queen sweet which was super nice with a big shower a chase lounge connected to the couch which I love and lots of space. The indoor pool and hot tub were super nice amenities and they also have a guest laundry room that we were able to use to dry our wet clothes after swimming/hot tub. They also offer a delicious big breakfast with lots of variety that we were able to enjoy both days. This location is great and close to everything! It’s only about a 10min drive to the great Wolf lodge and you can just go there for the day. Also the same distance to all the shopping we also went there and enjoyed a lil shopping. I would definitely recommend this Hampton Inn and I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the great experience and stay!…
I travel for work, and Hamptons are usually a nice option. At check in they were able to fix a small problem I had with the reservation. I wish I was offered a bottle of water or something. But not all hotels do that anymore, oh well. What I really wish they would work on is, housekeeping letting the doors slam on the deadbolts of the rooms they’re cleaning. This is extremely disrupting and I’m not sure why hotels allow this. Just gently close the door behind you on the deadbolt while you’re working. There are people here like myself that are working off hours (aka overnight shifts) and might be sleeping. Please*stop*the*slamming! Otherwise, the spacious rooms are quiet (mine was right beside the highway and I didn’t have any issues). Also of note: the thermostat was easy to navigate and the shower head had a nice array of settings. The bath towels were quite small (like hardly covered my tuchus lol) and microwaves didn’t have a ton of power, so I found myself having to heat food longer. I also felt the TV could’ve been bigger for the size room I had. Also no option for Netflix/Hulu/etc but there were HDMI hook ups. HBO is available though. Regardless… I would definitely stay here again!…
I stayed here with my family over Thanksging. It was my first time to Hampton Inn and Suites and it definetly wouldn't be my last! It's centrally located, the staff was super friendly and the room was impecable! There are lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. Tannersville Outlet is nearby, and the breakfast buffet has lots to choose from. I highly recommed this hotel.
My fiancé and I stayed here on November 18 2022 for one night and paid $192.93 for a king room with a refrigerator and microwave. As we arrived we noticed how cold it was in the hotel and proceeded to our room. I digitally checked in sometime earlier and to my surprise the digital key didn't work and I had to get a key from the front desk. The room appeared clean but when I turned up the heat the thermastat was not working. I called the front desk and asked to change rooms. I acquired the keys and made our way to the new room. Both the rooms had small television sets and placed far away from the bed so watching tv wasn't the best. We also noticed a single long hair in the shower that tells me the room wasn't cleaned properly. One of the bathroom lights were out, not a big deal but it does make you wonder how the hotel is maintained and cleaned. I didn't use the pool or fitness room but did check out the breakfast buffet while the car was warming up. The hotel is located in a convenient location, close to shopping and restaurants. I wouldn't stay here again because of the questionable maintenance and cleaning practices and also we didn't like how the room was setup.…
This will be an odd statement and most likely not addressable by the hotel. We are tall: 5'8" and 6'2". The toilet is VERY short!!!! I honestly felt that I was on a toddler toilet. Careful with keeping the shower doors (if you have a walk in) in the right order or you will flood your bathroom! Found that out by a huge mistake!!! No safety bars in the shower which should be a must. Good locations for the area. Lastly the breakfast hours should be changed to at least staying open till 10. This was noted in other reviews here so the management should really take note. I don't know how many business travelers this location would get to warrant closing the breakfast at 9 but it seems to us that many were leisure travelers.
Stayed at this Hampton for a wedding in the area, and we ran into many issues that make the property very hard to recommend, but let's cover the positives first. The hotel itself is in pretty good shape, with decently-sized rooms and fresh decor. No surprises here - in a sense, if you've seen one Hampton, you've seen them all, though that's not necessarily a bad thing. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, despite the hotel being fully booked and very busy all weekend long. Onto the negatives. Our room was very dirty on arrival, with hair left on the carpets and some troubling brown streaks in the bathroom. For whatever reason, the air conditioning blew incredibly moist and wet air into the room, and even after turning the unit off, my girlfriend was left with hives and skin irritation for days afterward. A few staffers got into an expletive-filled screaming match as breakfast was closing down one day, which isn't a good look for a property that targets families. I brought all of this to management's attention as we left, and I sincerely hope everything was addressed. If this hotel wasn't part of the pre-booked wedding block, we'd have checked out early and stayed somewhere else. This was a pretty unpleasant experience for everyone in our room, but reviews for this property seem positive overall, so your mileage may vary; if you stay here, maybe think twice before running the air conditioning.…
It’s unacceptable that everyone at breakfast received single use cups, plates, and utensils. The amount of waste generated was depressing. The hotel clearly had a kitchen; please invest in real plates, cups, and utensils and then have them washed. In the year 2022, it's lazy and irresponsible to encourage this kind of wasteful behavior. Invest in washable items and model responsibility.
TripAdvisor said that this was a top rated hotel. I'm not really sure how it got such good ratings. The check-in was fine, but the readout on the wall thermometer was difficult to read because part of the LED did not work. As for the location, it's great as long as noise doesn't bother you. It is literally right next to the expressway and there were semi trucks using their Jake brakes all night. Regarding this, there are other hotels that are a few blocks off the interstate that I would probably choose. On the positive side, breakfast started an hour early and was one of the best I probably ever seen from almost any Hilton property. There was the usual, but also two different selections of fresh fruit, waffles, muffins, bagels, cold cereal, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes and much more. The lady managing the breakfast was very attentive as well. I've been having trouble sleeping lately, and if I had known that the hotel was right next to the interstate highway, I would never have stayed there. I know this is not the staff'ss fault, but just being honest.…
