We did not stay at the Shadowbrook, but attended a party in their pavillion. The food was catered by Shadowbrook, while there was nothing "fancy" everything was good and nothing ran low. If something on the buffet was getting to about half full, they quickly refilled it. Fully stocked bar with great bartenders. A good time was had by all.

Long day at work and following a 5.5hour drive from Pittsburgh the bar staff were welcoming and sorted us food out as it was very close to closing time. Great selection of beer. Top bants and gave us Limeys a really warm welcome. Cheers and take it easy!

This place either needs to end their lodging business and focus on golf or do a major overhaul of their rooms. We checked into Room in the 100's and it had not been remodeled since the 1970's. Blond furniture everywhere. Walls were covered in stains and had not been painted in years. The stains were disgusting. The carpet was just...

This place no doubt was a go to in the area in days gone by. Now it's run down and needs attention. Our room down right smelled and the hot tub was ewww kind of dirty. Way too much dna in it for me to ever think of using it. It's really a shame. It is a nice area for...

The hotel is old and in need of some updating. But the rooms are always clean, and the staff is friendly. They have a bar/restaurant on site and the views of the mountains are worth the visit. Also you can't beat the price.

My husband is a loadmaster in the Air Force and has stayed in tents nicer than this. After a long day of traveling our family was exhausted and desperate for sleep. Upon entering the building with the "renovated" rooms we were overwhelmed with the smell of marijuana. The smell continued to the second floor and inside our non-smoking room. The...

I stayed for 3 nights in May, 2014. The staff was very helpful & got me a room that required minimal walking. The grounds of the resort are beautiful and kept immaculately clean. The room was large and equipped with a microwave oven, coffee maker & refrigerator. It was clean & the housekeeping staff did an excellent job each day....

The room had a lingering smell from when they used to allow smoking and I found an unwanted piece of debris in the tub, other than that everything was acceptable. The facility is dated but the room had modern electronics and was very roomy. The sheets were clean but well worn, this place would do for work or just passing...

We stayed in the old section which I under stand was damaged in a flood which was very apparent. The room was clean but out dated and falling apart. Many construction works staying long term which may be why the old section has not been shut down for complete renovation. i am sure if this section was inspected I am...

Stayed on first floor last weekend for one night. I can see that at one point, the rooms were probably great. But, the room was in bad shape. Drab. Not enough bright lights. Needs to be updated. Needs fresh paint on walls. Bathroom ceiling tile was stained. I didnt sleep well at all.
