Should your travels ever take you to the Altoona PA area, there is a hidden gem in the woods of a small town, Warriors Mark: Laurel Ridge Bed & Breakfast. My husband and I stayed here as a wonderful alternative to stale, noisy, 2-star hotels while we were in Huntingdon for a football game at Juniata College. What a treat!... More

We stayed overnight after attending graduation at Penn State. Wally & Kay were very welcoming and the breakfast was excellent. We wish we had more time to enjoy the quiet and peaceful surroundings. Great value!

We were looking for someplace to stay for a wedding we were attending nearby. Always searching for a good alternative to a hotel, we were very happy to find this place. This is our 1st stay at a B&B & we certainly picked a WINNER! Wally, Kay & their lovely choco Lab, Abby, made us immediately feel at home & welcomed! They've 4 beautifully turned out quest rooms w private toilets as well as a cozy sitting area. Wally made breakfast both mornings & we ate and comfortably chatted with them.... More

What a wonderful experience. Home and grounds are gorgeous. Clean rooms and super sweet and attentive inn-keepers! Every detail remembered...a definite must stay. Check out this hidden gem for the ultimate relaxation.

Stayed this past weekend for a PSU home game. Arrived Friday afternoon and left Sunday morning. Kay and Wally, the owners, are very friendly, gave excellent advice on parking and places in state college! Breakfast was great both days, room very nice,clean and welcome touches. What a delightful and peaceful place. The rooms are cozy, it is extremely quiet and the breakfast is marvelous. Kay and Wally have created a wonderful retreat; they are welcoming, very funny and well-traveled.
