Two nights in brutally cold Pennsylvania weather. The room was warm, cozy and clean. The 6th floor hallways were bright and wide. The lobby is lovely and I took a self guided tour of the public historic rooms with the permission and encouragement of the front desk. The hotel is a bit tired looking but still fascinating. I'm glad I...

This hotel has tons of charm. The lobby is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great view of Washington. We found the room to be on the smaller side with several very large pieces of furniture. We felt one or more of these pieces could have been removed. The bathroom was also very small. The walls...

Stayed at this hotel for only one night. The reception staff were friendly and gave advice on trips, the rooms were modern and very clean. Like some other eviewers I had no view from the hotel room other than a brick wall but this did not put of my enjoyment. A good base for tourist or business.

My wife and I stayed here on a recent trip since we decided that we would try something different than the same places we always frequent at interstate exits. This place is a classic and must have been "the place" when it opened in the 1920s. I don't know how they keep it open since it certainly didn't have a...

Stayed here for one night on a business trip in Washington. The hotel is set back in amongst a housing estate but don't let that put you off. It was a bit difficult at first to find the hotel from the main road. On arrival the car park was large and the hotel is built on 2 Levels. Check in...

This place was a real treat. Just loaded with history. How Marilyn, the Beatles and JFK chose the place I don't know. Suffice it to say that they did. Kennedy even gave his Bay of Pigs speech here. But history aside this was a comfortable, clean and affordable place to stay. So what if it could use a few upgrades...

Stayed here for business and was really surprised at the difference between the website and the actual experience. No doubt the hotel has a lot of character but the experience was disappointing based on what I expected from the website. It's very dated and the rooms are a hybrid between nice furnishings and a motel. You want to love he...

The GW Hotel was built in 1923 and has a lot of character and beauty. It's a great hotel for those who can appreciate it. This hotel is not for those who expect to stay in modern-day luxury or a cookie-cutter chain hotel. This hotel is located with other historic buildings, with the county courthouse across the street and an...

Old quaint inn. I was totally fbfounded that Hotwire would put this inn comparable to Holiday Inn Express or La Quinta!!! The room was clean very small and old. I do give the proprietors there due they are trying to keep it up but there is a lot of work ahead of them. Not to mention the location is incredibly...
