We arrived early and the friendly staff was more than helpful with a super early checkin. Ac was super cool. Quiet atmosphere. Only downside is the u-turns on 202. Great food nearby. Clean rooms with new updates. Will definitely stay again and again.

I came to West Chester to visit the NC Wyeth House with no hotel/motel reservations and called the Sentinel Motel a few hours before I arrived. They had a room available at a affordable price. It was clean, quiet and the staff (owners?) were super nice. This is not a chain hotel; rather, it is an "old school" motel that is family owned with no frills. That said, I had a great stay with no problems, no noise and a good night sleep for 2 nights. I would recommend if you are in West Chester.

New Grandson just born...DNC in Philly this week...no where to say for under $300!! Argh! Always skeptical of motels, but this one was a good one. Clean and some updates done. Beds were comfortable. Wall AC worked well. Bathroom somewhat updated, but no shelf....needs a shelf!! Refrig and microwave in room. Need additional trash barrel. Hosts are terrific . We'd stay there again.

This was an unplanned stay for my traveling companion and me. Our rental car died in Chadds Ford so we were stuck there for the night. We found the Sentinel on our cell phone and were so happy to find a cool, clean room with WIFi at the end of a disappointing day. The innkeepers were very nice to us, and we particullarly appreciated the bright cheerful colors in the room and bathroom. We will stay there again on purpose next time.

I almost never leave reviews but only do when the place really really deserves it. The management is awesome! Its a small property so they know you at a personal level, always nice and asking how your stay is going. I had absolutely NO COMPLAINTS! House keeping is always alert, if you have any type of problem (I did not) management is available 24/7 and always willing to help. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Plus you dont get these types of rates ANYWHERE near the area.

We needed an inexpensive, clean place to spend a night and change into different clothes for an event. This motel satisfied those requirements. Clean, quiet, freshly painted and updated bathroom. We were surprised to find a micro and fridge. Realize the prize is a bargain and if you expect fancy this isn't it. Yes the t.v. is not a brand new model. It worked just fine.

We stayed there last night. The room was clean and comfortable. It's dated but when everyone else in the area is double the money it's a great value. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We had read the earlier reviews but decided to try it anyway. Quiet, comfortable, clean easy to get to and a great value. We travel through the country and stay in motels at least 250 nights a year. We will definitely be back

We stayed here on our overnight trip to Longwood Gardens. A perfect place to settle in for the night. Very clean rooms and cozy beds. I was pleasantly surprised that, despite being just off the road, I didn't hear any traffic throughout the night. We will absolutely stay here again on our next road trip.

I look for pricing above all else so I expect to get what I pay for...the rate was cheap at that moment so I snagged it real quick. I am actually glad I chose to stay here because for one thing, without realizing it, was that it was in a familiar area and down the street from a lot of shops and restaurants, etc. So I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were clean and they did some upgrading in which you can tell, the only problem I had in which it wasn't really a problem was the knocking noise in the pipes from the heat turning on. That only last a few seconds, but all in all it gave that home type feeling. The staff alone is what made me stay another night. They were very friendly and informative of events that were going on. Very good hospitality service.

I came in to West Chester for a wedding – everything else had been booked up nearby, but luckily I found the Sentinel Motel via Orbitz. From the pictures, I pretty much knew what to expect – and everything lived up to expectations. It appears to be family run, by a nice group of people...and it seems that they've done what they can to add some modern touches to the rooms in the last few years. There was a small issue with the toilets leaking, but they are aware and fixing the issue soon. My specific compliments are about the hospitality / service. I requested an early check-in, so that I could get ready before going to the wedding that afternoon and they had no problem accommodating me. As I was checking out, I also forget something very important / valuable to me – and didn't…
