The place is very reasonable in price for a regular working person. I liked the location. Out in the woods, yet near stores if you head west on Rt.940. As for management nice people who are always ready to help. It says on the internet small dog allowed. I didn't bring my med large dog as I am looking for a job and want to move in the Poconos. The place was small clean sheets checked box spring for any surprises. These days you have to be very careful with bugs. No bugs ,they exterminate and check. I had no problems on my 3 day stay here. Safe bet to stay.

Cleanest room I have ever stayed in for this price range. Owner's were helpful and nice. Great for people who want to explore the beautiful area around this motel and are just needing a clean place to sleep with basic amenitites. Fridge, microwave and free wireless are bonuses. Good deal for the price.
It's a bit hard to find - some directions or GPS coordinates on website would be helpful.
I will definitely stay here again.

My husband, ever the budget traveller, discovered this place when we biked the Lehigh Gorge Rail-Trail ("I saw $50 and it was love at first sight!") I was a little more skeptical, having been subjected to other of his "finds". But I was pleasantly surprised -- basic, to be sure, but everything was clean and functional, and there were even some helpful amenities: TV, microwave, fridge, bathtub (not just stall shower). And you get a friendly, helpful innkeeper to boot. We have stayed in a lot of these kinds of accommodations all over the U.S. and this is definitely is among America's best bargains. So if you're not looking for a Marriott or Best Western, I say go for it!

Country place inn and suites is an absolutely terrible place to stay. Came here because of the decent ratings and short distance to attractions. However, this motel is filled with people who live here and have no care or respect for the property. Our room overwhelmingly smelled of smoke, to the point that no air freshener or open windows would rid the awful smell. Even after leaving, the stench from the room has stayed on all of our bags and clothes. Our room was not insulated and was absolutely freezing. WiFi did not work in our room at all and my boyfriend had to do his work in the parking lot. We complained to the manager about the WiFi and he said that there “must be too many people on it right now”and to “try again later”. Surprise suprise, WiFi never worked. The shower and hot water also did not work so we were stuck taking cold baths. The toilet barely flushed and floor was wet upon arrival. It showed signs of a recent breakage and there was a soaking wet plunger next to it. Carpet was filthy and showed dirt and old puke stains. It was evident that no cleaning has been done to the room between guests. Door lock was also broken and manger said to “just keep trying to turn it different ways”. There was no phone or clock in the room. The continental breakfast was a lie and consisted of 1 pot of coffee and no food for the entire motel to share.
Please, do not waste your money and stay here. The only good reviews are from people who have no other reviews and probably have to rate it five stars to live there.

My friend and I stayed at the Country Place Inn & Suites over Labor Day weekend as all the nicer places were booked. It was cheaper than some other hotels so at least my friend and I could each have our own room. However, it turned out to be particularly awful 1.) Everything in the bedrooms and bathrooms was dirty except the sheets and towels. When I complained after the first night, the man behind the desk (his family appeared to live there) said he'd clean it himself, but he did not. 2.) My room had the worst mattress I have ever encountered, and I'm not picky. It was as soft as the world's fluffiest pillow. which sounds nice, but what it meant was my relatively light torso sunk in about 18 inches, while my feet and head sunk in less than 6 inches. So I was curved into a very uncomfortable shape and I got almost no sleep. 3.) While this complaint won't matter to most people, it's still ridiculous: The staff deliberately removes all the tub stops so guests can't take baths (and overflow the tubs). For medical reasons I was supposed to take two baths a day, which I explained, but they wouldn't give me a tub stopper. Eventually they did,, which was an improvement, but of course I had to clean the tub myself before I could take a bath.

The room smelled of smoke and only 1 electrical outlet out of 2in the room worked. Half the rooms at the place looked to be rented out long term. We didn't feel safe there. Everytime I left my room at least 2people came out and watched what we were doing and then the either sat in a chair next to their room or went back inside. The door to the room was flimsy and the walls paper thin. We left after a few hours and went to a named hotel. Never again.

This place was scary. It smelled horrendous and was so small I could barely turn around in it. The bathroom floor was sticky and scary. I can’t even explain the smell. Don’t even get me started on the clientele that obviously lives at this place. Old white flabby shirtless dude with greasy long gray hair would not stop staring at me and my boys. I felt like fresh meat and I doubt if the locks on the doors would keep out anything. I literally walked in and walked tight back out. Asked for a refund and turned in my key and all but ran to my car. The only nice thing I can say is the manager was nice. Their site is completely false advertising. Not fit for man nor beast

Hahaha ok all humor aside this was perfect for our needs. We were only staying two nights with a few waking hours in the room outside of sleep and didn't feel like paying for a room barely used.

Our family is rife with allergy issues and both rooms rented were free of dust, mold, smoke and lingering musty dusty moldy smoke smells. Not a bug or crumb in sight. Carpeting looked newly replaced in one of our rooms. Beds were comfortable and no cigarette burns on linens...bonus!

Rooms included cable and free wifi. Small fridge and microwave, one trash can, a dresser, small end table, luggage rack, 2 beds, towels, shower/tub, toilet and sink. Electrical outlets and heat too. Kids were happily plugged in and charged.

That's it. That's all we needed. For less than $50 a night we seriously could not have asked for a better, cleaner, cozier place to rest. I've paid more for worse staying at brand name budget hotels. If we were staying for a week we'd rent a cabin.

Go for it. We'll be back for quickie ski & waterpark trips.

My wife and I stayed 1 night and had to leave. We were bit up with bed bugs. I told the owner and he denied having bed bugs, so I started reading reviews and they've had problems with bed bugs for over a year. Do Not Stay Here Bed Bugs!

Do NOT stay here.... we were horrified when we pulled into the parking lot....we cancelled immediately!! There were people in their cars everywhere... some sleeping... others doing God knows what. It was a rundown sketchy looking motel.
