If you ever wanted to know what life was like for an 1850's lumber baron, you can find out, at least in part, by staying here. The Inn is gorgeous and the inn keepers do a wonderful job including breakfast on the weekends. Be sure to check out the wood work in the inn - they don't do it this...

This historic house is beautifully decorated - not overdone with excessive clutter. Room was huge and very clean, bed was very comfortable, a sip of complimentary sherry before bed was wonderful. Staff was very welcoming and helpful in guiding us through town. Couldn't ask for more!

We had a wonderful stay at the Peter Herdic Inn. Love this old mansion, the woodwork, stained glass windows, and antique furnishings. On Saturday and Sunday they serve breakfast, and boy is it appetite pleasing. The owners and staff are good and nice, very welcoming. Great restaurant next door. We will be back.

My wife and I had a wonderfully pleasant time at the Peter Herdic Inn, staying there Friday and Saturday nights. The Rose Room was a delight for my wife (into Victorian furniture) and me (into comfortable beds and ample rooms). Breakfasts were ample enough to make us forget about lunch, and the cooking was superb with local ingredients (although I...

My husband and I had stayed at this location for a weekend trip to the Williamsport area. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and hiked Ricketts Glenn and Pine Creek Gorge. This inn was centered nicely in between the 2 areas and we actually booked with ease on their website. The building itself is old and quirky, but very charming....

My wife and I had a fantastic time at the Peter Herdic Inn. The rates are very good and the rooms are spacious with high ceilings and look like they would have a century ago. The whole house is exquisite as well as their fantastic restaurant just next door. The breakfast was one of our best evers at a B&B,...

My wife and I went to Williamsport for a weekend get away, she found the B&B. The house is wonderful, we had the Red room which has a Jacuzzi tub in it as well as a piano (a little out of tune). It was not exactly a room but more of a suite. The breakfast was outstanding, and the staff...

The room was gorgeous and comfortable - plenty of heat and hot water - spacious bathroom. The whole house is beautifully decorated and a delight to walk through. We were fortunate enough to be there for Saturday morning breakfast - everything handmade and delicious (n.b. breakfast served weekend mornings). Occasionally had to stop and shake my jaded NYC head in...

Wife and I spent the weekend (end of July) here as we attended a Train Show in Pennsdale PA not far from here. Great room in a beautiful home. Very friendly staff, and a great breakfast. Only complaint I have is the hour (9 am) when breakfast is served. For some who want to leave early to explore the area,...

The Inn had period furnishing keeping with the history of the area. Our host was very very knowledgeable of the area, personable and intelligent. Breakfast was made with fresh local ingredients. Nicer than any sterile hotel room!!!
