We found this hotel very nice with reasonable rates. Jennifer at the front desk was pleasant but rushed. There were several guests who'd arrived at the same time and some of the folks in front of us were having issues with their reservations. From what we could tell, she handled and fuxed everything to the guests satisfaction. We had a king room with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We were on a floor with several very noisy guests. But we were so tired we went to sleep anyway. There was no free breakfast, but guests could pay for a breakfast in the restaurant for $10. We didn't get the breakfast. We would stay here again, but maybe request a room away from any large groups.

It is frustrating to book based upon the amenities only to find out they are not in proper working order. King room was nice, comfortable, spacious; however, the jets to tub were turned off for the entire building. The jets to the hot tub at the pool also only had one or two at full power. The rest were either not on or at about half power. They turned off the YouTube channels access before 7 a.m. on departure day when check-out isn't until noon.

Nice bright hotel, good parking and friendly staff. Room was nice too. We had dinner in the bar and the food and service was good too. Only problem I encountered was doing laundry. Laundry room had only one washer and dryer and was very busy. I did manage to go in when the washer was available but after I put all but the last quarter in, it would not accept the last quarter as I suspect it was full. I told the receptionist but she said that the laundry was managed by an external company and she was not able to get hold of them. It looked like it was corrected by morning but the washer was already busy with someone waiting so I gave up and said goodbye to my quarters. Other than that, a great stay.

I've traveled a lot from NYC to Turks and Caicos and I can honestly say the Sheraton Four Points has the best group of people from the GM Dory to the cleaning staff!
The front desk staff is Stellar Jenn,Sydney,Martin and Mary could not have been nicer very welcoming almost like family!! The restaurant/Bar area is tastefully decorated if you're interested in having a cocktail or local beer Deb is wonderful best bartender ever! Due to Cov the restaurant isn"t fully operational as yet but they offer a light menu from Flat bread pizza,ceasar salad is amazing and one of my favorites cold shrimp with Deb"s famous cocktail sauce !! Also the pantry is fully stocked with snacks wide varity beverages and various basic need like tums,tylenol,chapsick and even batteries. So if you're in York this is best hotel in area no contest!!
Also when the indoor pool and hotub are all clear from inspection also due to Cov the kids will love it and Mom and Dad can relax on the patio/deck get some sun while the kids enjoy the pool.
I really can"t say enough about this wonderful property and the staff!! Dory did a spectacular job staffing this hotel!
The Sheraton Four Points is truly home away from home !!

I stayed at the Four Points Sheraton, two weeks out of three for training at the Academy for my job. The first week, just being in an unfamiliar town and environment, and checking in by myself, I was feeling a little uneasy. after my late night check-in, my feelings were reassured by the night auditor/clerk, she was Amazing to say the least. After check-in, someone had broke a picture in the room, glass was everywhere, she offered to immediately come to clean it up and move me to another room. I ended sweeping it to the side and since it was late, and I had to be up in 5 hours, I told her we can handle the business when I return about 4:30 pm. Upon returning to the hotel, Julia has worked everything out before she got off, Moved me to a more accommodating room, since I was going to be there 5 days, had someone to help move my belongings and coupons for dinner/breakfast, which I thought was very empathetic to my situation. The rest of my stay, no issues, every morning, Julia made a point to see me and make sure everything was 110% fine! Some people just work, for a paycheck, or the convenience of close to home, but Julia, I feel is in the perfect job, she is professional, caring, knowledgeable and just and all around good person, and that is what's missing in the customer service world today. I didn't stay the second week here , because the hotel location was 42 mins away from the training academy, so I decided to stay at a hotel that was 18 min away, an extra 30 min of sleep, less gas, less wear and tear on my vehicle, less traffic, you get my point. For week three, I chose to go back to the Four Points Sheraton, when you get a piece of mind, security and professionalism, that out ranks the less time I needed to travel. Wonderful staff and very accommodating in every way!
Thank you Julia, for my home away from home! Anytime I'm in the vicinity, this is where I would choose to lay my head.

This hotel was awful. I used my points to stay for a volleyball tournament that my son was participating in (he stayed in another hotel with his team). The staff were the only shining star at this Sheraton. They tried to help me resolve issues but there is only so much they can do. I had to change my room 3 times in one night. The heating/cooling system in one room started emitting a burning smell at 2am and in one of the other rooms I switched to the heating/cooling system was so loud and I could not turn it off. I kept pressing the off button but then it would just randomly turn on again and shoot out loud cold air on its own. This happened to be a suite that I was transferred to which is unbelievable. The beds were sunken in the middle and very uncomfortable. Needless to say I didn’t get much sleep at all. The breakfast buffet was horrible, not very tasty, and had limited options. I also got a made to order omelette which was not great. The waitress Sonia was very helpful and kind though. Like I said the staff tried their best and I really appreciate that they tried to provide good customer service. However, Marriott needs to conduct an inspection of all of the rooms in this hotel and make sure they are up to standards. I would never stay here again.

First, let me say that the people at the front desk and booking office were amazing. I was here for a convention and they helped me reserve with our special rate despite some planning hiccups. For that I’m super appreciative. Breakfast was good. Their bar was very nice and had some solid brews on tap.
This said, I have two complaints: 1. The design of the shower absolutely Sucks. There is no soap tray or ledge for you to rest items on while you’re showering—you know, shavers, your own soap or shampoo, anything. Ridiculous oversight in my book. Secondly, I found housekeeping to be inconsistent; for example, forgetting to put spare TP in the room. I found the floors gritty as well. I wiped up quite a lot of dirt with the towel. But I’m willing to give the hotel the benefit of the star doubt due to how well I felt treated. Thanks, everyone!

Had a business training meeting at this venue. Our group had received great service in the planning process and actual event performance during our training session. I was asked to find a location to hold a customer training event with a very short window to plan this event. I stopped into several event venues the last week of December to find a place that could handle all the requirements needed to have a successful event. We had people from local and distant locations attending. We had to have room for those driving in from a distance along with meeting room and meals for this event. We also needed a location that would allow us to keep all attendees that were staying overnight to stay on location for meals and entertainment. Indira went above and beyond helping with setting up the complete event and working with us when headcount changed for personal or weather reasons. The banquet, bar, and restaurant management and supporting staff also went above our expectations.
We were given what some would consider and almost impossible task due to the short planning timeline and Xmas holiday, but with the assistance of hotel team, headed by Indira we pulled off the impossible. I did not mention that this was my first event to quarterback, and this team has helped make this event a total success.

I stayed at this Four Points about five years ago. They were just starting the renovation, and the property REALLY needed it. It was a pit. I refused to go back for years, even though I travel to York occasionally for work.
I stayed at the Four Points this past week and the renovation has done much to improve the property. The lobby, common areas, and rooms are all much brighter and more modern. The room no longer had the feeling of a broken-down truck stop and was relatively comfortable.
All that being said, there are still some issues. The walls are still paper thin, and I woke up to voices/noise from the hall and adjoining room more than once. In addition, while the staff is nice and hardworking, they seem really shorthanded. My room was not made up one day, and they forgot to leave towels another. Finally, the other reviews are correct... smelled weed several times while walking down the halls.
The hotel is much improved, but still is not going to be my "go to" in York.

We had a great weekend stay at this location when we were in town for our child's sporting event. Our suite was newly renovated and very modern and most importantly very clean. I was greeted as an Ambassador guest with a small goodie bag and a hand written note - many higher end hotels don't do this, so it was very much appreciated. The lobby was spacious and well kept as well. All the staff that we encountered were very lovely as well. If I were business traveling or traveling for a sporting event, I would readily stay here again as it was excellent for it's class. I'm not sure why the ratings are so low on the Marriott website - I would take that with a grain of salt, particularly during Covid times.
