Detailed Reviews
Will never stay here again. Not only did the non smoking room smell like cigarettes but there were mny other issues. There were drug addicts outside nodding out on sidewalk all night long. There were people slamming doors and coming in and out of entrance all night long which kept me and my girlfriend up. There were people fighting and screaming in the hallway at each other. The worst part tho, when I informed the hotel desk about all of this and they basically dismissed me and acted like I made all of it up.

This place is disgusting roaches are crawling everywhere and you have to worry about mice in your room I've made several complaints during my time at this place and nothing was done when they moved the mini fridge the amount of roaches that came out there was enough to make me sick to my stomach this establishment is is atrocious from the rooms to the way the handle complaints. By saying this I read all the reviews and responses from management and I can tell you they haven't done anything to fix any issues do not stay here your better sleeping in your car

The parking were not plowed even though there was 6 inches of snow, the police were escorting several people out, the room was dirty, there were hairs an the sheets and all the buttons were peeled off the TV remote. We left and stayed elsewhere.

Do NOT stay here. They are no longer Econo Lodge they are The Inn at York & they are so incredibly filthy that the visible layer of black dirt & grime on the door made us not even want to touch it. Upon entering the hall all you smell is Marijuana & Urine . (And this is the area the vending machines are in) The ONLY reason we even entered the building was we saw 2 men arguing in the parking lot & 1 had a gun. This is now a hotel people live in, do drugs in & practice prostitution out of according to the single mother living I the room across from ours. The patio & balcony areas of some rooms clearly show signs these units are lived in.
In our room the soaps still say econo lodge but as I learned when we called headquarters to complain, this place was so filthy & dangerous to stay in that they have lost their Ecno Lodge flag & they should NOT be using any of the Econo Lodge toiletries.
As a nurse, I was appalled by the filth in our room. How it could be worse than the door is mind-boggling. There was black pink & green mold & mildew in the bathroom. Long black hair stuck to the back of the bathroom door & shower curtain. The bathroom door doesn't shut all the way. Urine & dried feces under the toilet seat & on the hinges & Urine on the floor. 1 of our beds had fleas & both top blankets had blood on them. There was a pattern of blood sprayed on the wall in a way I have only seen on ambulance runs for over overdose cases.
Blood on the night stand between the beds & our window was not only broken & duct taped it looked like it had been shot. It also wasn't shut all the way & nearly impossible to lock. We have to wonder who was squatting in this room or had bad intentions because someone came to that window & tried to get in at 3 am. My service dog alerted me with a nose bop & a growl. Her hackles fully raised & eyes on the window in full alert mode. This guy ran when my husband threw open the curtain & had a pit bull beside him in full snarl.
My medical alert service dog is trained to alert to concealed carry too, she's the only reason we risked staying. We made a quick trip to Walmart for cleaning supplies & I used my entire can of medical grade Clorox 4 in 1 on this room & surgical gloves on the our hands when touching the hall doors.
This is a place where you do NOT feel safe staying & you are intimidated by the residents gathered around the office who pay way too much attention when it sounds like you want a refund.
So you don't feel safe staying & you don't feel safe asking for a refund.
I lived 5 years in the ghettos of Denver, I felt safer there than I did staying in this place. We were going to stay thru Monday so we wouldn't have to drive for hours after working our weekend event. This place was so scary that we chose to drive home in a torrential downpour most of the way.
