Rather than listing the negatives of this rather shabby motel, I will say that the beds were comfortable, linens were clean, and there was great shower water pressure. Our room could use a deep clean. I was glad I had my Lysol wipes & spray with me!

The hotel is happened to be below my expectations even it's 2-star. The reason of limited breakfast (coffee, fruits and cakes) is understandable because of limited budget due to pandemia. However, I don't understand why there is no hot water (a little bit warm) coming from hand washing crane. When the running water is shut by the crane handle and turn on again, the water is cold and it takes a few minutes to get it warm. The water in shower is not hot enough. No tea, just coffee. I noticed parts of hair in towels and linens. Bad smell. In the lobby there is just coffee, no water. I paid $108 per night including tax. For such amount of money the service could be better.

I was in York for a volleyball tournament stayed here very good location clean enough room felt safe and secure. I would stay there when available to again. With no breakfast available it was close to a sheetz so that made it nice for convenience

I wish I could explain this place in one word but I can't think of anything but YUCK. The lobby curtains were tied in knots hanging on the windows. The breakfast room looked like a construction site. Breakfast is no longer offered because of COVID but other hotels in the area are offering breakfast to take out or to take to the rooms. The the NON SMOKING room smelled of smoke and the bedspreads had cigarette burns on them. Toe nails in the carpet! Needed vacuuming! Mini fridge was dirty. Microwave smelled awful. Dry soap suds on the shower wall from previous guest so the walls were no washed down. Broken drain in the tub. Luke warm water in the shower. No DND sign in the room. One small bar of soap??? Paint chipping and nail holes on the walls where head board used to be. Floor lamp had a split wire on the cord. If I plugged it in I would have caused a fire.

1-Star for front desk personal. They were very nice and accommodating but absolutely no stars for the room. It was awful. Take a look at the pictures (be sure to zoom in on the yellow and white photo, if you can, to see our spider friends) and tell me if you would have your family sleep here. One picture I couldn’t take was of the smell. Thankfully it wasn’t a smoky or mildew smell but it was one of an overly scented room deodorizer, like Febreze x10! I could feel the carcinogens fill my lungs and enter my brain. My family was sneezing and noses were running. I awoke from a horrible sleep with a painful, piercing headache. So back to what you can see. Filth. I stripped the top cover off the bed, checked for bed bugs (thankfully none that I could see), family slept with our day clothes on, slept on top of the sheets and used our coats as blankets. The only reason we didn’t leave the room that same night was due to the fact that all hotels in the area were completely booked mostly due to the volleyball tournaments going on at the expo center. Luckily we were out of there the next day. Again. Staff was pleasant. I’m just in disbelief that Wyndham has their name attached to this place! Shame on them for having such a horrible hotel! Close it. Update it. Then reopen. No one should have to stay here. I truly think less of Wyndham now. Sad.

The place was promising with "breakfast included" they had coffee that tasted like dirt, dry oranges and cupcakes that were all sugar. The place wasn't clean at its best, the pool wasn't open. I get it if they're still having covid restrictions but this is something that should've been noted since the beginning. The maintenance people cleaning the vending machine made extremely loud noises at a late time of the night, they filled the ice machine around 4am interrupting the sleep you can barely get from the night before thanks to the vending machine being cleaned. We ended up cutting our stay 1 day less than planned because even though we requested a smoke free area we'll smell cigarettes at all times of the day.

I have read several mixed reviews about this motel. I had my reservations as to whether or not I wanted to stay here. After calling customer service to make a reservation I was assured by the staff that these rooms have been upgraded to suites. I reserved two rooms on this particular trip and was pleasantly surprised when I got the key and open the door to both rooms. The rooms appeared to be clean and smelled fresh. We stayed in rooms 106 and 108. We had no issues with the rooms during our weekend stay with the exception of my sons room apparently had a mouse in the room and had eaten the bread that was on the dresser. We did notice glue traps behind the dressers but it didn’t raise any suspicions in my mind. The staff was very nice and very helpful. The price was great and I would definitely consider this motel when I am back in the area.

Dirty, moldy, doors have huge opening underneath for bugs and other crawlie things. It took us minutes to even enter the room the keys card handles did not work. If You use a third party booking agent you cannot get a refund without it causing a lot of grief. I will not be staying or telling any friends to stay there.No coffee was left in the room for us for the second or third day. Mold up the curtains in the bathroom. SWhat looked like blood on the wall picture. Bed flipped up when you sat on the end.

Honestly the worst place you can stay in the area. Book literally anywhere else. The staff doesn't help with issues. Actual roaches in the room and after the worst hotel experience of your life the owner will offer you half off. Keep in mind you have been in the room for 20 minutes and saw how awful everything is they say it's too late for a refund, but you still had to leave. And when you were there for 20 minutes they don't give you a refund, they say "what do you want now? " After they put you in to third room that reeks of cigarettes, after they say all rooms are non-smoking. Don't stay here, please.

Breakfast buffet selection decent (included a waffle maker) and large room refrigerator. However, first room thermostat didn't work; 59 degrees all night. Light switch/lamp into room didn't work. Screws holding top dead bolt latch were falling out. Hole cut out in bathroom door to allow it to open because they installed an elongated toilet instead of round one. Hanging rank not level and about to fall out of wall. Hair dryer didn't work. Drywall dust on wall and floor left from installing a wall plate in shower/toilet room. Faucet sink had no hot water; only cold. Requested new room, which was better, but still no tissues in rooms. Shelves under sink had a thick layer of dust which left questions as to how well they really cleaned the rooms. Outlets above microwave in breakfast room did not have any cover plates, which seemed like a code violation.

There is and we had a problem with this hotel because it was listed as pet friendly, but after we checked in we were told they don’t take cats. They allowed us to stay but told us not to bring the cats back. No problem, we won’t be coming back.
There are more places to choose from in the York area.
