The Governor Bradford House is a hotel in a historic building located on a working farm. The innkeeper welcomed us and provided an orientation to the farm and gardens. The small goats added to the ambiance. An excellent and ample breakfast is included in the price of the room. Bristol is rich with history and close to Providence and Newport....

Mt. Hope Farm is a great base for the tiny town of Bristol. Our family of two adults and a teenager enjoyed the quaint and comfortable rooms, a self-tour of the farm grounds, a nice walk down to the water, and a tasty and companionable breakfast in the dining area. Our host was very gracious and considerate supplying gluten-free options...

We decided to stay at the Mount Hope Farm in part to be out of the hubbub of Newport (but not too far away) and in part to support the idea of a non-profit organization running a B&B on a national historic site property. Our room, the Byfield Room, was lovely and spacious, with a handsome, four-poster bed, a fireplace,...

Lovely place, beautiful pastoral surroundings and two additional places to stay on the property: North Pasture House and South Pasture House. If you stay here on a weekend, there is an amazing Farmer's Market in the field in the summer and in the Barn in the winter. Great breakfast...very comfortable room...highly recommended!

The Gov. Bradford House is on Mt. Hope Farm, a wonderful 130 acres of respite located in Bristol RI: East of Providence, west of Newport and south of Warren. An excellent place to get away if you are from near or far. The farm has many farm animals and is growing into a sustainable, educational experience. The B&B is very...

What a wonderful surprise! This quiet spot nestled among the quaint little seaside town of Bristol. Very laid back, it was like being at home. Delicious breakfast cooked each morning and fresh baked goods and tea set out in the kitchen during the day. We wandered to the piano room to enjoy some music and into the game room for...

Stayed at Mt. Hope Farm for a Mother's Day getaway. The accommodations were charming, clean and up to date. The grounds were beautiful and we had a gorgeous view out of every window! The staff went above and beyond and made us truly feel welcome and at home. We had breakfast with some wonderful guests and Innkeeper Dave greeted us...

Very nice location for a wedding. Catered food was great. Dinner was served family style in the barn. Only problem was that each item was about 10 minutes apart. Fish - 10 min later - rice - 10 min - beef - 10 min - potato - 10 min - beans. Awkward way to eat. Barn was nicely renovated but...

Our stay at the inn was a very relaxing and refreshing experience. The staff was beyond friendly, courteous and the entire place was extremely beautiful. I love farms and this location was a very pleasant surprise. We walked around the grounds, took pictures of the farm animals, visited the farmers market Saturday morning right on the grounds, we visited my...
