This small boutique motel takes you back to the early days of staying by the beach, yet the place looks very new. Each room has a beach and ocean view, and they are kept immaculately clean and nicely appointed. You walk across the street and you are on the beach, just beyond crowded Scarborough Beach, yet close enough to walk...

Thank you for writing us such a wonderful 5-star review! My family and I are very particular about the cleanliness of the rooms, so we are glad you noticed. As you mentioned, we are located on the less crowded north end of Scarborough Beach where it is a little more relaxing than by the pavilion near the center of the...

My wife and I stayed here for four nights in August and its main selling point it that it is right across the street from the fine state park at Scarborough beach. The motel offers free parking and free WiFI. There is a refrigerator in the room and a microwave in the office area where they also offer coffee and...

Small motel that you can walk across the street to the beach. No need to pay a fortune to park. Very quiet part of the main beach road. You can take the trolley to most places you want to go. Tokens can be purchased right in the motel. This was by no means a five star hotel but is was...

We have gone to Hawaii, the Virgin Islands, Aruba and Punta Cana, yet nothing to us rates as high as our experiences at the Anchor Motel in RI. I suppose its because it has become part of our tradition to stay there for a week every year ever since our children were little, and we carry with us many fond...

Thank you so much for your amazing review of our motel! We have received so many nice reviews lately that I can hardly keep up with the responses! My family and I love reading everyone's reviews and it means so much to us when guests compare us to amazing destinations like Hawaii. I'm glad we have consistently made your list...

We stayed in the Bed and Breakfast section of the Anchor Motel last week. The hotel is located directly across the street from the beach. The hotel is family run, and over the course of our visit we interacted with many members of the family. Each and every one of them was friendly and helpful. The Bed and Breakfast rooms...

We been coming to the Anchor Motel for four years now and everytime we have a very pleasant stay. The rooms are always clean and at an ideal location for the us beach goers. This year was the first year we stayed at the Anchor B&B and felt in love with our rooms, clean and very spacious, my one small...

The owner is wonderful! The location is wonderful! The room was super clean and neat! I normally stay in upscale hotels. I booked this property as my trip was last minute so this was the only option available. I was worried as this was a motel but after my experience, I would say there again.

We're New Yorkers, so we wanted a quaint beach getaway, that didn't cost a million dollars and take 7 hours to get to. The Anchor Inn was perfect! We literally rolled out of bed in the morning and went to the beach! And Scarborough beach is totally mellow, much more relaxed than the Cape or the Hamptons. We had a great...

We've been coming to the Anchor for 5 years in a row. The location to the beach is perfect! We can run to the room to use the bathroom right from the beach. It's closer than the beach restrooms. Motel keepers are very nice. Rooms are very clean and have recently been updated. If anything negative, the soap and shampoo...

Very nice, family owned motel. Located right across the street from beautiful Scarborough Beach. Affordable and comfortable. We have visited multiple years. If you are not looking for anything upscale, you will be satisfied here.
