We really enjoyed staying at the Cuthbert House while in Beaufort. Everything about it was perfect! It is located on the river in a quiet section of historic downtown. The house is absolutely beautiful and the owners anticipated our every need.

I have just returned from 2 weeks in Georgia and South Carolina, Beaufort being the final stop before returning home. It was definitely a case of saving the best till last. The Cuthbert Inn is a perfect Southern gem. Wonderfully run by Connie and Pierre who are the kindest most gracious hosts. All the staff there are friendly and welcoming,...

The Cuthbert House has it all. Warm hosts, a historic home, azaleas under hanging moss, charming social hour and breakfast, and upscale rooms. Many historic B and Bs are pretty worn, but not the Cuthbert. Our spacious bathroom opened to a deck (must not have been a closet). We have stayed at many B and Bs from Georgia to Nova...

We appreciate your kind review. We, too, love the beautiful setting of our historic home; the Spanish moss dripping from the trees, the water views, the flowers ... The layout of the house also makes it a great b&b. Much thought was given to the arrangement of the suites, bedrooms and bathrooms as well as the common areas of the...

My husband planned our trip to Beaufort, and as we had never stayed in a bed and breakfast decided to book a room at The Cuthbert House Inn. We are so happy he did. We stayed in the Garden room, which has a porch off of the bathroom, where you can sit and look out over the garden. Also another...

We only stayed one night, but it was perfect. Welcoming, helpful staff, a spacious room with modern bath, and a delicious breakfast. I especially loved the Venetian chandeliers in many of the rooms. It is right on the waterfront where you can stroll to the marina, shops and restaurants. Perfect!

So many of our one-night visitors lament leaving too soon. Beaufort is such a lovely coastal town to explore with so many interesting things to see and do. We hope you will be able to come back soon and spend some more time with us. The Cuthbert House is a great base for your Lowcountry wanderings. Not only is Beaufort...

Our bride-to-be stayed in her suite Friday evening after their rehearsal dinner. She reveled in her last night as an unmarried woman. She enjoyed the peaceful setting and quiet inn overlooking the Beaufort river. This town is home for her. She reflected on her upcoming nuptials with her fiancé' while enjoying her beloved Beaufort. The next morning after a scrumptious...

The room was spacious and had lots of amenities. It was beautiful. The food was excellent and the location was within walking distance of just about everything. Coffee on the porch was great. The hosts could not be more gracious and accommodating. The only downside was that the mattress had a serious hollow in the middle but we fixed that...

Thank you for your nice review. We were thrilled to hear you had a wonderful time! Beaufort is such a gem. However, we don't want our guests to experience any inconveniences and wish we had known about the mattress before you arrived! We will find the bed in question and have it changed before you come back. We always appreciate...

It was our first staying at a Bed and Breakfast...we enjoyed our stay and the staff went above and beyond!! It was close to downtown restaurants and stores (2 blocks). It was refreshing to be put on the front porch drinking our coffee and watching the sunrise.

Many of our guests enjoy having a cup of coffee and watching the beauty of nature unfold as the sun rises over the water. We are so fortunate to face South because we also benefit from having the view of the sunset from our porch. In the evenings, when the weather is mild, we often host our Social Hour on...
