We loved loved loved staying here at 86 Cannon as my partner and I were passing through Charleston. After researching high and low for the perfect stay, I found it here and I couldn’t wait to surprise my partner as it was our first time in Charleston. I was not disappointed in the slightest. The owner Marion was super sweet, professional and attentive on the phone to make the reservation and followed up with text messages before and after our arrival, with tips and helpful aid to welcome us to the inn! We had the newly renovated house all to ourselves which was perfect especially during this time unique time of Covid. Everything was super fresh and ultra clean! The staff went above and beyond! Marion the owner checked us in as soon as we arrived and gave us a great little tour masked up and showed us to our fabulous and cozy rooms with surprise truffle chocolates and champagne! We seemed to have a private deck terrace that was lit up magically with the most charming lanterns. we enjoyed a beautiful complimentary breakfast on the terrace in the morning whilst listening to the rainfall. Our room was so beautiful, the shower was unbelievable and I slept like a baby in the most luxurious bed! The interior design was simply perfection, we were just overall so impressed! We felt like we stepped into a home and decor magazine cover page! They provided bikes for a fun escape and weather permitting I can’t wait to come back and take a bike ride around the neighborhood and town. Elliot helped check us out and gave us a special masked tour of the guest house next door which was incredible. He was so on top of everything and had the best advice of things to see and do in the surrounding area. He went out of his way any chance he got, he was so helpful and gave exemplary service as did all of the staff at 86 Cannon! 86 Cannon is comfy, cozy, immaculate and genuinely picturesque southern charm elegant chic! 11/10 for all around gorgeous accommodations and customer service! We will definitely be visiting again and telling all our friends about this true hidden Charleston gem!

This property is extremely special in every way. The owners have taken extreme care of property and attention to detail, are very friendly and helpful and they know everyone in the neighborhood and the best recommendations. Staying in the suites is like escaping to a luxurious getaway and has everything you could need - refrigerator, dishwasher, china, sound machine, high-end bath products, local magazines and wine and local snacks. The mattresses and linens are the best out there. And there are free bike rentals and all the best restaurants are in walking distance. It's a cozy property that will feel like a second home and has a cute cafe, quiet library reading area and many porches with great breezes and views of the city to tuck away into. They are taking care of every detail in quarantine times - masks, full cleaning of rooms and breakfast and wine and cheese delivery outside of your door. Everything you need to know comes through helpful texts and you can text any questions for a quick reply. You will be so thrilled you staycationed or vacationed here!

This is a modern, luxurious well curated Inn at walking distance to many attractions in town. The Inn is beautiful and the posted pictures don’t do justice to this place. We stayed at the attic room which was spacious and had a great bathroom. The place is spotless and since it is small the is enough social distancing. Breakfast was excellent and there are many places where you can sit and be alone to enjoy it. Will stay here again if I come back to Charleston

86 Cannon is a beautifully curated inn in a great location in downtown Charleston. Everything about our stay was excellent. Elliott was our attentive host and touch point for the rest of the exceptional service we received. Wonderful wine, cheese, and breakfast. Their bikes are a great way to expand your reach for seeing the city without having to resort to a vehicle. So much is well within walking distance too - dining, shopping, and strolling. The main building itself boasts grand porches, ample rooms, and unique common areas so it was also worth enjoying for its own sake. This historic inn is really in the heart of a great neighborhood in a great city. High commendations to locals and visitors alike.
