The room was clean and accommodations were fine. The price was high but no breakfast at all with no compensation with Bonvoy points. Stayed in all Marriotts in our trip through Florida and we were compensated with points due to a lack of breakfaset. Not happy! We are Marriott Elite members and should have had compensation.
We had a beautiful room on the third floor overlooking the restaurant next door. Our room was great for a long weekend and had all that we needed. Very comfortable and very clean. The hotel overall was great and the staff is extremely friendly. Lois at the front desk was an enormous help throughout our stay. The hotel was the perfect location for us considering our itinerary. Close to King Street and all of the restaurants and shops.
We were originally only staying one night but extended for two after falling in love with the property! Hunter at the front desk was so polite and welcoming. We are Marriott loyalists and this property was one of the most charming and non-corporate stays within their portfolio. (And the points redemption felt like the one of the most cost effective within the area as well, which is shocking to me!) Extremely happy with our stay and will definitely be the go-to for future Charleston visits.
My husband and I visited Charleston from NYC in February. We looked at many boutique hotels in Charleston but a lot of them felt too quaint for our taste. We were looking for something more contemporary and cosmopolitan and were absolutely amazed by every detail at Bella Grace. Our room had super high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling window, gorgeous furniture and lighting (we wanted the furniture for our own apartment and asked the manager what brand it was — not surprisingly, it is from Restoration Hardware…very expensive stuff.) The kitchenette in our King Studio was also meticulously designed and equipped; they have the space down to a science! The king bed was so comfy. The bathroom was big and luxurious. The room we stayed in was absolutely quiet (the heat/AC made no sound!) and spotlessly clean. The front-desk staff was extremely kind and accommodating. We felt safe and comfortable at this hotel during Covid. Thank you for the wonderful and luxurious stay! We will be back!…
My wife and I recently spent a long weekend at this property. Very nice and quaint boutique style hotel. Check in was very efficient. Staff is great and very knowledgeable about the area. We spent the weekend in the Penthouse Suite. Very nice room with an incredible outdoor patio area. Room had a small kitchenette area, dining table for 6, nice sized living room area and large bathroom. The hotel is close enough to the historic area and E Bay Street for a nice walk. It is also just far enough away to not have alot of overnight noise. Once we arrived and valet parked the car, we did not need the car again until checkout. Highly recommend this property, when spending time in the historic district.
